Super Sealant

I Recieved this product free from Butterly in exchange for an honest review! The DAP #ampsealants were a dream to work with! We've got this laminate flooring between the back patio doors & the hard wood and the strip of Sealant there was old and flaking away so our toddler was picking it, next thing we know it there was no protection from water and other build up. DAP saved the day, this super easy to use Sealant worked great with my simple caulking gun, applied so quickly and evenly & left the seal not only functional but looking so much better. It dried so fast it was able to all be done during nap time. Naptime for baby has become Daptime for Mama!

Draft free

Thank you @thisisbutterly and @dapcanada for selecting me to try out this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

You could feel a draft if you were near our front door, so we cleaned and re-sealed inside the house with this DAP AMP All Weather Sealant. It has made a huge improvement, and when the weather is nicer we will re-seal the outside too. Has a very low odour, and dries in 30 minutes, was very easy to use.

Waterproof, easy to use

I received the product for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. We used DAP AMP in our window. The product was easy to apply. We had a problem with moisture in our basement and other areas still remains moist but I’m glad to came across this product because I didn’t worry if the window area was a little bit dump because DAP AMP can be apply in wet surface. And so far, the window looks great, no problem at all.

Quick and fast drying!

This all weather sealant was so easy to use and it dry really quick as well. I was able to paint within an hour. It was my first time I ever doing sealant on windows and Dap Amp made it really easy!

Amazing!

I was so excited to be selected for the opportunity to try the DAP all weather window, door and siding sealant. We had some weather stripping coming off of our front door and we applied it to our front door. It’s very adhesive and easy to apply! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Product as described - no issues at all!

I received this product for free from butterly.com in exchange for my honest opinion. Received this just in time for a quick repair during winter break - there has been a crack on one of our wooden pillars outside that I have been meaning to repair. This product is great and does its job as described, and easy to paint over after. Best part is it doesn’t have a strong smell, which is a huge plus!

Received a bursted version, so it may be faulty

Upon receiving the sealant for free in exchange for an honest review, I noticed that the bottom had already burst (2nd photo). Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common problem with this particular sealant or batch from Butterly (I’m unsure if it was due to some external pressure while being sent out). So upon cutting it on a 45-degree angle as usual, it was more difficult to come out. However, once the sealant did start coming out, compared to the other DAP sealants, it seemed to be on the runnier side and rather uneven, in turn making it more messy than the other formulas. In terms of drying time, although it says to dry in half an hour, it does take longer than that but that’s fine as I didn’t need to paint over it on the same day. The results can still be professional looking, it just takes more effort and work compared to the other DAP sealants for cleanup. And although this isn’t a specific fault of this sealant, due to its sticky/rubbery texture it does attract dust and fur to it.

Tips
Use gloves and clean up quickly because it’s quite difficult to remove as it is really sticky.
