Great Spackle but Not the Patch

The Drydex Dry Time Indicator Spackling Kit that I received for free from @thisisbutterly and @dapcanada contained spackle, sandpaper, a patch and putty knife. On it own the spackle applied very easily, allowing for a smooth application over the nail holes I needed to fill, however I found that the included patch was much to thick to apply nicely so did not use. When first applied and wet it is pink, but the spackle dries, without shrinking, to white letting you know it is ready to sand. The container contains a deceivingly large quantity of spackle which will allow for multiple uses, meaning you will probably need more sandpaper for any future jobs. #thisisbutterly #gotitfree #productreviewclub #chickadvisor #productreview

So easy!

This was my first time ever using spackling. It was incredibly easy and I really liked the pink to white drying featuring. Since the hole in the wall was quite deep, seeing the pink gave the reassurance that it wasn’t dry yet. I like that the kit is inexpensive and comes with sandpaper also! Literally anybody could do this.

SO EASY AND SO QUICK

Got this Dap Drydex Spackling repair kit to review for free. It's a great product,so easy to use and so quick to repair a dent in my drywall. I highly recommend it. One quick sand to go and another light coat should do it. Everything you need is in the kit. Including a plastic application tool was a nice touch.

DIY home repairs made easy!

With four kids and two pets in the house, our walls sometimes take a beating 😞. But with this kit, it was so easy to repair and fix damaged walls.

I personally appreciated that the kit came with everything I needed. Ready to use! The instructions were easy to read and understand and I loved that I didn't need to purchase additional items to use.

I started off with cleaning the wall, then I sanded down the area (removed any debris) then I applied the product. The kids were a little worried when I was applying it because it was initially pink (as seen in the video) but they were surprised when they walked past and saw it hard turned white. That was probably the most convenient part, we knew it was dry once it turned white.

Now my walls are ready for paint! It was that easy and that user friendly. If you're looking to patch up a wall, definitely give this Drydex Dry Time Indicator Spackling kit a try.

No More Guesswork!

I received this product for free to test and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I recently started patching up wall dents and dings in my 10 year old house to make it look new again. I’ve tried a few brands of wall repair kits over the past couple weeks but this one is definitely my favourite. It goes on pink straight out of the tub and when it’s completely dry and ready to sand it turns white. This is so helpful for me. I’m quite impatient and always in a rush so now I know for sure when it’s ready to be sanded as I’ve had to redo a few areas in the past due to it not being dry enough. I love that this kit came with the perfect size putty knife. It’s easy to work with and extremely easy to clean. My old metal one has rust on it but this one won’t have that issue. My kit also came with some sandpaper, which is quite convenient and a patch for difficult, hard to patch areas. In conclusion , I would say that this kit is perfect for beginners, those who don’t have a lot of experience with wall repair or just any one who likes to take the guesswork out of their project.

DAP Wall Repair Kit

Love this kit as so often I forget to get a putty knife or it is rusty. The sandpaper and patch are great for those pesky little gaps or holes. Easy to use and comes in a complete package which helps get the job done. I am starting to prep the bathroom so getting this free will make the job easier. @dapcanada
