Great for patching walls

I received this as a free sample and I love it. It was thicker than I expected, however it went on easily and is great for filling in larger cracks and gaps in the wall. I love that it was pink and then dries to white so I know when it is ready for sanding and painting. The kit comes with the applicator, patch, sand paper, and the compound. Easy to follow instructions too. The most difficult part was opening the little pink top! Thanks to Home Depot and Butterly for the free product! I will use it again, makes my home repairs, quick and easy now!

Quick small repairs

I used the Dap Wall Repair Patch Kit with DryDex. I first noticed when opening the product it seemed a bit dry, but with a good stir it the texture was great. I applied a small amount of DryDex to the back of the patch and adhered it to the wall covering the small hole, I continued to apply more DryDex to the surface , the pink coloring helped to see the application. I waited for the pink color to turn white as instructed to indicated it was completely dry, and then I sanded down the patch accordingly. This was very easy to use, and the dry indicator was a great help. I recommend this for any small projects that are needed to get done.

Impressive results

Drydex Dry Time Indicator Spackling 1 Ea White/ Kit is an amazing kit. Perfect for my needs. I was able to repair the ceiling. The most I.portantn is not mess!. The colour of the mixture change the pink to white when it dries. It comes with sand paper to leave it ready to paint. I receivevthis product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Gets the Job Done Right

I received a free sample of DAP's Wall patch Repair Kit for an honest review.
I love DAP. Honestly, even though I received a free sample of it, DryDex is the only spackling I buy. I love its colour indicator as it dries. As someone who is very impatient, it is a nice visual reminder if it's still wet. Sadly, at the time of writing this review, I didn't have a big enough hole to use the full patch kit... but I can only imagine good things from it. However, I'd buy this kit regardless as I love the patch for an emergency

Awesome Kit

I have repaired many cracks and holes in my drywall and I am impressed with this kit. I wish I had this @dapcanada Drydex Spackling kit back in the 90s when I had to repair a massive hole in the wall. This kit has a mesh that is perfect for major repairs. I currently have a small one hole I needed to repair. I like that it is pink when it is wet and it turns white when it is dry. The kit also came with sand paper so I can smooth out my patch work. I would purchase this again. I received this product for free for my honest review.

Easy and Reliable Wall Repair with Color-Changing!

I had the opportunity to try the Wall Repair Patch Kit with DRYDEX Dry Time Indicator Spackling for free, and it was a surprisingly effective solution for a large hole in my wall. The kit included everything I needed, from the spackling to the patch and a putty knife, which made the process convenient and straightforward.

The DRYDEX spackling was especially impressive with its dry-time indicator feature. As I applied it, the spackle was pink, and it gradually turned white as it dried. This was incredibly helpful since it took the guesswork out of figuring out when it was ready for the next step.

Great for minor home repairs

I was really impressed with how easy this product was to use. We wanted to touch up some gases and minor holes in the walls of our apartment before sale. It’s very easy to apply and smooth out. It’s also very easy to tell when it’s dry and sand down ready for painting. This is a very convenient kit and as long as you can keep the pot of spackling dry, it will last a long time. This is a great kit for anyone doing minor repairs at home. You don’t need any level of skill in order to use it. Highly recommended, especially given the wide availability and low pricing of this kit in local hardware stores

Easy to Use

I found the DAP Alex Plus Caulk & Drydex Spackling Kit very easy to use as a novice. It's colour-changing left for no questions as to it's readiness, and because it was so easy to use I found myself looking around the apartment for other holes to fill. It works like a charm!
