    Worst Movie

I hated this movie. I struggled to get through it. It took me 2 days to watch it and the language and lack of comedy made it not desirable to continue. Ryan Reynolds is some great eye-candy, but he's in a superhero suit basically the whole movie and I couldn't get into it. Didn't even bother watching the 2nd one.

Completely inappropriate and hilarious! Oh my gosh did I ever laugh! Ryan Reynolds outdid himself in this movie. I wasn't sure if I would like it because I'm out of the loop in regards to Deadpool and the history behind him but the movie did an excellent job of explaining everything!

Deadpool is a 2016 action film. It's directed by Tim Miller and stars Ryan Reynolds, T.J. Miller, and Morena Baccarin. Deadpool is an X-Men character, but this has no relation to the X-Men films.

The story follows Wade Wilson, a dying man who undergoes an experimental procedure to cure his cancer. The procedure leaves him with the ability to rapidly heal, however he is also hideously disfigured. Scared of what his girlfriend might think, Wade hides away, creating a red suit and becoming a mercenary as he hunts down the people who did this to him.

Those unfamiliar with the Deadpool character may be in for a bit of a shock, because he is rude, crude, and super violent. He also constantly breaks the fourth wall, meaning he talks to the audience and makes self-referential humour. For those who know Deadpool well, this will be an absolute treat because it's everything you would want a Deadpool film to be.

Ryan Reynolds had initially appeared as Deadpool in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but they did him a complete disservice. It wasn't a faithful representation of the character at all, and Ryan had been trying to get a real Deadpool movie made for years. It really doesn't disappoint and I'm really so happy it finally got made. For a long time, it looked like it was just going to sit on the shelf and never see the light of day.

I wouldn't recommend this if you're sensitive to a lot of rude humour, nudity, or violence. However, if you're fine with all of those things and you're looking to watch a comic book film that does things differently, I think you will enjoy this. There's a reason why so many people love it.

The film is rated R and has a running time of 108 minutes.

I loved this movie! I am no Marvel comics expert (my husband is, which is how we got to watching this- and he approved!) but I really enjoyed this movie. It was funny, fast, action packed, and a little dark- a little bit of everything! (plus Ryan Reynolds *insert heart eyes*) It was a nice date night movie with my husband when the kid was in bed!

This movie was perfectly cast. They couldnt have picked a better lead for the role of Deadpool than Ryan Reynolds. Lots of sex and masturbation jokes so it's not other super hero movies that are suitable for children. Not something you wanna watch with your in laws like I did either! Some jokes were a little unnecessary but I guess it was all just a part of the character's humor and personality. Really liked it.

Hilarious. Ryan Reynolds is such an under rated comedic actor. Full of action from the opening credits, this movie sucks you in and doesn't let go. Just don't watch it when the kids are around, not a comic book story. Violence and coarse language among other things.
