From the first few pages of this book, I was hooked. Nicolas Sparks writes such beautiful romance novels and he really brings the characters to life. I think l read this book in a few hours, I just couldn't put it down. Huge fan and continue to read all his novels.

this is a novel that tells about a love story of a soldier and a simple girl. their love story is complicated since they have to be separated, the guy has to go to war. this novel tells about a very beautiful long distance love story, and it also tells a great story of love of family. one of the reasons why i love this novel is because it does not only concentrates on romantic love, but also parental love. if you love your father so much, this is a must read.
