This movie is pretty funny. Love how there is a neighbor hood competition for Christmas, to see who's house lights up the best. All actors did a good job in the movie. Fun for the family to watch over all.

Steve (Matthew Broderick), suburban dad and Christmas enthusiast, finds a wrinkle in his well-ordered existence with the arrival of his new neighbor Danny (Danny DeVito). Danny has big dreams and plans to illuminate his house with enough holiday lights to make it visible from space. Not to be outdone, Steve declares a war of one-upmanship with Danny that threatens to drag the Christmas spirit through the slush.

Matthew Broderick and Danny DeVito make such a hilarious pairing. They'll embark on one crazy adventure after Buddy moves in next door. Christmas decorating takes on a new meaning when Buddy has aspirations to have his house seen from outer space. A lot of arguments will ensue but the spirit of Christmas will light the way to a new beginning for these neighbours.
