Smell

The smell of this product is good. However is quite strong for me as I am used to use no sense deodorants. Who likes smell will love this one. It's good to have an aluminum free deodorant.

Not my favourite scent

I received the Degree® Revitalizing Botanicals Odour Protect 0% Aluminum Free Deodorant free to review from chickadvisor. I’m not a fan of gel deodorant because of the wet feel but as I applied it went on nice and dry. It left no white marks on my clothes which always happens as I wear black daily. The scent wasn’t my favourite as I applied, there was a bitter scent that turned me off. The good thing was the scent died off within an hour and didn’t leave and weird after odours. The one weird thing I noticed was that once the stick was touched it left an almost condensation like liquid on it. I’m not sure if that’s good to stay on the product though.

Degree 0% Aluminum

I had the opportunity to try the degree deodorant 0% aluminum. I am a user of aluminum free and natural deodorants so was excited to have the chance to try this for free. The deodorant is 74g which is the bigger version and will last quite a while. The packaging was grey which i thought was a little dark and not very attractive. The revitalizing botanicals scent smells like menthol. I found it had a minty scent, it wasn't my favourite but it was tolerable and not too strong. The deodorant itself is a translucent white and goes on very smoothly. I wore it just around the house or doing errands and I found it kept me dry, which fits the 48 hour ordour protection claim on the packaging. I really like that it's not only aluminum free but alcohol free as well. I would recommend this to anyone who currently uses degree and was thinking about trying an aluminum free deodorant.

Just "ok"

Definitely enjoy the botanicals scent, but this product certainly barely last 24-hours, let alone the advertised 48-hours. By no means do I live an active lifestyle, so I didn't stretch my expectations in the slightest. Gets the job done, but kind of disappointed.

Great fragrance

Great smell but the odor protection does not last for longer than a few hours. Not the best for working out.

Good product, scent not my fave

I #gotitfree from a chickadvisor promo. I like the product. I am not a big fan of this particular scent. The citrus one was more pleasing for me. It has a bit of a wet consistency when you apply it but the scent sticks around for a while. It does sit on your clothes too. I used it before working out and it definitely lasted through to the end of the workout. I would purchase the citrus scent again but not this scent. And overall, less chemicals in a deodorant the better!

So glad Degree has an aluminum free option

I usually use a natural brand of deodorant, but I've been curious of other brands introducing aluminum-free options. I think the product worked well for regular daily usage. Not sure if it actually lasts 48 hours. The scent seemed a bit strong when I opened the tube, but it's not overwhelming or lingering after application. Personal preference on the scent, but overall decent product.

Not bad....just not for me

First off I recieved the citrus which I did not like the smell of, and the botanicals that I loved the smell. The texture was nice going on but I just found for me personally it didn't last and I had to reapply a few hours later. I generally prefer men's deodorant for this reason.
