Dempsters

I purchased the Dempster's 100% twelve grain whole grain bread. I have to say I was surprised with how good it was. Texture is important to me and I was worried it would be grainy as often is the case with these types of breads. It wasn't at all. It was smooth , soft and very tasty. It actually made me feel like I was eating something healthy. I would definitely purchase this product again!

Thanks Family Rated for allowing me to try this for free! I had a bit of trouble finding the bread at first as my local grocer doesn't carry Dempsters, so I was a bit slow to review (sorry!). I also have to apologize that I didn't try it myself as it disappeared from my cupboard so quickly as my hubby went on a grilled cheese frenzy. I think its safe to say he liked it and I will be buying more next time I find it (the price was really good too, especially when it goes on sale)

Was good

This is one if the best breads other than making your own. It is quite nice in texture and taste. Would definitely recommend it and I will continue to purchase this brand.
The leaves are not too big and not too small, the perfect amount. Price is ok but compared to other brands I'd purchase this one over the others overall.

Great Bread

I found this bread to be great for French Toast. It tasted great, and I like that it is healthier then other breads out there. I would buy this product again if it was on sale.

Extremely soft whole grain bread

I absolutely love this whole grain bread, it's so soft and always cut to the perfect thickness, I love this bread for grill cheese toast or sandwiches.
Kids and husband love it, and I don't hear the dreaded where's the white bread complaint! Thank you chick advisor for letting me try this bread for free!

Pretty good for production bread

Pretty good for production bread - makes a decent grilled sandwich - won't compare it to artisanal breads and that is not fair to either. Usually have a loaf around for day to day use.

This product is very filling when you are on the go. I don't care for it toasted but I sometimes have it plain, just to fill a hunger pain to tie me over till the next meal.

I am a plain old white bread person. It was not until i went to a friends house for lunch and she made me an eggs sandwich with 12 grain bread. Not wanting to be rude i decided to give it a try. And WOW
I am glad i did. Ever since thats all i buy now.

pretty decent bread

I do wish the flavor was a little more in depth so that's why I ranked it down a little. It is very practical bread for small family consumption in a rural area because it remains as fresh tasting as the first day all week. My favorite of the dempster bread is the chia seed with no added sugar.

Great bread! Healthier option than plain white bread.
I like it for toast and sandwiches (usually toasted).
My boyfriend eats it too...and he's picky!!
