Skin feels great

My skin feels really nice after using this detox mask! It was perfect for using after being hot and sweating outside all day in the heat. I applied a thin layer and waited five minutes before rinsing off as instructed. I really liked how it has two steps, first with the detoxing mask and then exfoliating while rinsing off. The combination of the activated charcoal and apricot seed powder left my skin feeling amazing and looking healthy.The mask had a slight burning sensation when I applied it so I was worried that it was going to irritate my skin, but my skin wasn’t red or irritated at all when I was finished. The price is a bit higher than I would normally like to pay for a mask but considering it’s vegan, gmo-free, cruelty-free and very effective I would consider buying this in the future. #gotitfree in exchange for an honest review

Detoxes and exfoliates the skin.

I have tried a few charcoal masks in the past and found they left my skin feeling slightly dry and tight afterwards but this one didnt. I did have a slight tingling or burning feeling at first but that went away as soon as the mask started to dry. I love that this mask gently exfoliates my skin while rinsing it away. Although my face is left looking slghtly red for a few seconds after rinsing it off after that I'm left with brighter, glowing skin that looks and feels baby soft. This product is vegan , cruelty free and only contains cerified organic ingredients and leaves my skin looking and feeling healthy and clean. #Gotitfree

Pretty decent mask

I received this product for free for testing purposes.
I was excited to try out this mask because of the fact it is both a mask and an exfoliator. I love that it is cruelty free and GMO-free as well as free from soy and gluten.

The mask goes on smoothly and you can feel the apricot seed powder (exfoliant). It dries quickly (5-10min) and is easy enough for a charcoal mask to rinse off. I loved that during the rinse off process you can feel the apricot seeds exfoliating your skin.

The mask left my face feeling incredibly smooth; however, my face was SOOOO red and burned for about 45 minutes afterwards. Regardless I would use this mask again but only when I don’t have plans right after because the texture of my skin after is totally worth it!

The price is a little high, but given it’s natural products and number of uses you can get out of the bottle, I would say it is worth it!

Great cleanser/mask

This product has some scrub to it, it is a nice change from usual charcoal masks that just kinda lay flat.This applied helps loosen your pores as the mask penetrates you.Takes about 15 min to dry,rinses easy! Great product! I got it free to try! #dermae

A decent face mask

this mask was amazing on my face. it may have been a but harsh but i enjoy that it cleaned so well. my face was a bit irritated after use but after the little redness toned down the results were incredible. my face felt so fresh and clean. it wouldnt really be something i would purchase just because it is quite pricey.

This was my first time trying a charcoal mask.
Works great but a bit strong for my skin. I love the consistency and how easy it is to apply. It also has gentle exfoliators in it tat help smooth the skin when you're taking it off. After I washed it off my skin felt extremely smooth and refreshed. I probably wouldn't purchase it again because it too strong for my skin.

Not for sensitive skin

I was really excited to try this mask and scrub. I have combination but sensitive skin. Unfortunately, this mask is far too sensitive for me to use on most of my face. It burned and caused my face to get red. I was actually concerned I was going to develop hives. It was so painful I had to remove it immediately. I'm not sure if I just had a bad reaction to one of the ingredients or if it's really not designed for sensitive skin, but it should carry some type of warning. It's easy to be fooled into thinking organic and/or natural products will be appropriate for sensitive skin.

Great 2-in-1 mask; great results

I tried Derma E Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask. I used it sparingly and it dried quickly. I liked the fact that it starts off as a mask, then, once it is moistened, becomes an exfoliant. I have never tried a 2-in-1 mask before, so this was quite a nice surprise. My face was left feeling clean, refreshed, and incredibly soft.
