Working formula for my skin

In my hunt for anti aging products I came across of the Ferulic Acid that is supposed to be great for this purpose.
So I chose this Dermadoctor serum that contains 20% Vit.C ,Ferulic acid and Vit. E because of its nice ingredients. I've been using it since 3 weeks every morning after cleansing my skin and saw some nice improvements on my skin:my dark spots became lighter and my skin much softer.
My few around eyes wrinkles do appear smaller than before.
It is meant to be used only in the morning and after if stepping into sun applying an SPF is a must.
I find it a bit tricky to apply because runs easily across my fingers.
Regarding its smell:I am not a fan of it, strong medicinal .
I find it overpriced for the quantity.
