Good concept, not a great product

The Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin Slider case itself is well constructed and the design/pattern on the case is cute and perfect for summer. The material is a hard plastic where the case slides up to store your credit card. While I found it easy to store a card in the space allocated, it wasn't as easy to get the card out. The Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin Slider case held a couple emergency bills perfectly without snagging or anything when trying to slide the case up. The top seam to where the sliding part of the Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin Slider case meets the rest of the case isn't quite flush so there's a little edge that bothers me a little. I'm not sure if it was just a quality control thing where it was just the case that I received or if all of the cases are like this. The Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin Slider case is not very bulky as far as phone cases go and the fact that it has storage is a very pleasant added bonus. The rubber sides on the Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin Slider case is not very "gripp-y" or sticky like you would expect rubber to be. It's smooth yet functional in the sense that it's snug on the curved edges of the Samsung Galaxy s8 and allows you to use the curved screen features of the phone which is hard to find in the phone cases available right now for the Samsung Galaxy s8.

After using the Samsung Galaxy s8 DesignSkin slider for 2 months, the phone case did not do a good job protecting my phone. In fact, my phone slide off my vanity and fell less than 3 feet and my phone screen was shattered. The siding part of the case has now become loose and not as great as it was brand new. I would not recommend this case anymore.
