Not the best

I was not crazy about this product. I have combination hair. This product is definitely not interchangeable with actual shampoo. I used with the no poo conditioner. My curls dried decently, however my roots looked kind of greasy. Not the most attractive look. I washed my hair again the next day to fix that. I will likely not buy again. Would be better for someone with extremely dry hair.

Over-rated

Deva-curl itself is over-rated but this shampoo that is meant to be better for you, smells like chemicals. My hair doesn't feel any cleaner than any other shampoo.

Decent but hard to get use to.

I like the effect this has on my curls, it makes them bouncy and not frizzy! However i find it hard to get use to, the no lather is weird at first. The first week of using it i found i needed to wash my hair ever 2 days cause it got extremely greasy, but after the 2 weeks my hair seemed to adjust to it. Overall i don't mind the no-poo, but i do feel like i need to use real shampoo to get a good deep clean once a month.

I had high expectations for this product that were not met. It didn't smell nice, nor did it cleanse well!
