Purchased a small special size bottle of this at my local beauty supply and I was not impressed. It left my hair super sticky and heavy which meant I had to rewash it again soon after wards! So far I have only liked one product from this line. Also not fussy on the smell.

I have tried a lot of products for my dry, frizzy curly hair and this product is the only product that eliminates the frizz. I would never go back to using anything else. Love it!!!

Beautiful curls

I l9ve how my curls turn out when I use this product. My curls are defined and bouncy. I do find the product very expensive considering how much you have to use at a time. I also can get a itch scalp from this product:( it's not a very day product for me but I use it when I want the perfect curl day.

This product doesn't leave your hair crunchy or weigh it down. So awesome!

I have long, thick, 3B curly hair. This gel works well to define my curls. I have to add another product to help with the taming of frizz as it doesn't seem to do much for that.

Best product for defined curls especially when used with frizz free volumizing foam.

I have tried 5761922359 products, and DevaCurl AnGEL gives my curls the best shape and shine. Just use a bit of the gel right out of the shower, and don't touch your hair until it is completely dry. Squeeze the crunch out, and voila! Beautiful, shiny curls.

It can be expensive but is VERY worthwhile.

This particular product is a gel that moisturizes and defines curls while reducing frizz. I use this product with Deva Curl AnGel while showering my hair. Using the "Deva Curl Method," you turn your head upside down while your hair is soaking wet and gently "scrunch" in Set It Free and AnGel products into your hair, then blot off the excess water with a T-shirt or sheet (not a towel) and let it air dry. These products together do an amazing job of bringing out my natural curls. I cannot recommend them enough. :) But remember -- it works best when used with the Deva Curl Method and when you don't towel dry your hair (the material in towels messes up natural curls and causes frizz.)

Extra note: What I really love about AnGel is that, unlike many other gels, it doesn't cause your hair to become stiff or sticky, when applied to wet hair. It's a very light gel.
