This is a real useful candle that's perfect for those times when you don't want to light a real candle. Candle is about 3 inches in size which means it's a good size not to big or too small. It takes 2 AA batteries that are not included in the package. What I like about this candle is even though it's fake it's still made out of a high quality wax which makes it look and feel like a real candle except this one will last forever as long as you've got batteries. The candle blinks slowly like a real candle but it doesn't have any scent which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference. I personally would have liked it to have some sort of fragrance in order to resemble a real candle but it still does the job just find regardless. This would be perfect for someone who loves candles but has a sensitivity to scents. Another handy feature of these candles is that they have a built in timer. There is 2 settings 4 hrs (4 hrs light up 20 hrs off) and 8 hrs (8 hrs light up 16 hrs off ) and will automatically turn on at the same time the next day. Overall it's a pretty great candle that I will be using a lot. I could see these being used as a cute little wedding decoration

My main problem with LED candles in the past is how clearly fake they look, but I love the design on this. The LED flickers in a small realistic pattern that mimics the way flame dances and causes shadows and I have to say, it's pretty convincing. This candle looks good off, but it really shines when switched on, with half the candle lighting up to a lovely golden color that gives a nice contrast with the green.

There are pros and cons in the choice of batteries, you're hardly likely to have C batteries around the house, but the benefit is that they will last a long time.

I also love the timing feature this candle has. If you select 4 or 8 hours, it will be lit for that time and then if it is left on that setting will light itself again the next day at the same time (when originally lit) for 4 or 8 hours again. This means you can set it up to activate when you want and then you don't have to touch it again until the batteries run down.

-Lovely contrasting glow of orangey yellow and green when lit.
-Settings can be used to have it light automatically each day at a certain time for 4 or 8 hours.
- Very easy to use.
- Flickering LED is very realistic and soft like a candle flame.

Cons:
-Requires C batteries that might take a special trip to the store to buy.
-Batteries not included.

This is a great candle for those who have kids, or like me, cats. With the flameless LED light you don't have to worry about fire hazards, it being knocked over, or curious cats burning their whiskers off.
