scale works ok, but the app is terrible.

The scale itself works ok, however the app required to sync it to your smartphone leaves a lot to be desired. You download the app 'Alfit' from the app store, then sync it to the scale. This was easy enough to do via my Bluetooth, and I was able to change it from kg to lbs (my personal preference). After the first use, the app required will no longer respond and closes almost immediately. According to the app reviews (2.4 rating, you can look it up yourself), I am far from being the only one this is happening to. I reported the issue but so far nothing has been done to correct it. If you are looking for a digital scale, this will work fine for you, but I I wouldn't rely on the app. It also asked for access to your photos, and contacts in your phone etc., which I don't understand the need for.
