I love Dior Shadows and have a couple of the 5 - Colour Eye Shadow Quads. When I saw ads for the new fall colours of 2014 I knew I had to get a couple. This review is for the 876 - Trafalgar.

I don't have any shades like this quad. The whole set is basically metallic, shimmery. There's a gold, a deep red, a shimmery pink, ivory-pearly colour for the highlight and a deep brown colour.

The shadow itself goes on very smooth and I find Dior shadows are very pigmented and last for me, for the entire day. What attracted me to the set was the red and the gold. These two shades are absolutely gorgeous! I wasn't sure how to apply them at first and had to consult the makeup goddesses (aka friends) in my life. We tested it out a few different ways, it was beautiful any way we used it. I think the colours are just so rich, they totally made my eyes pop. This really is a perfect palette for fall.

At $63 CDN for the Quad, I'd definitely buy it again and have already recommended it to some of my friends.

Love the eye shadow quad - it always comes out with complimentary colors to make your eyes pop during the day time and makes it easy to create a dramatic eye for the evening. Good staying power and blends well. Always look forward to see what new palettes they come out with each season!

I LOVE this eyeshadow palette. I tested out this product in store and fell in love with it from the very first time. It looks great, stays on with getting loose and the colours are all just so perfect. This is one of my go to eye shadows and it works well in all four seasons.

I love this quad! I have a few Dior quads. I love the colors :) it is pricey but the colors are so pretty and long lasting :) I recommend this!

Not cheap - but worth it. When I was in school this was the product I most lusted after. Being a grown up now, these are pretty much the only shadows I use and come back to. I always use them for nights out. They are silky, pretty colour dense, and wear well. I love the shades and have about 2-3 palettes... and these are my products which I am most loathe to throw out so one is older than 5 years. It lasts because you need so little when you apply it - great quality!

I cheat with these shadows and use an angle brush to apply them wet as an eyeliner as well. The trick is to always have a very clean brush to not contaminate the shadow, and to always wet the same small section of your palette (so that you keep the shadow's texture when you apply it as a powder)

Great eyeshadow. I have about 5 of these quads. I will keep buying more for sure.
