I like this mascara because it doesn't bother my eyes when I have contacts in. It also doesn't flake or smudge. It is pricey and you have to apply several coats to get any kind of volume but it is one of the blackest mascaras I have used.
Okay so I'm really torn about recommending or not. Ultimately I chose to recommend. The good parts - blackest black color. The formula is good. Pretty good in fact. I have to apply several coats to get the full thick look I want though. The wand is pretty good and does a good job of reaching all lashes and I was able to lift my lashes with it to get a really good wide eyed look. What I don't like is the price. Yes it's Dior but I'm disappointed in this Dior product for the price ... I expected DIOR to blow me away for this price. I mean let's face it, you replace your mascara every 3-6 months depending on the quality of the formula. If it blew me away I wouldn't complain about the price but I can think of a couple of drugstore brands that give me just as good results for way less price. So overall it's good but too pricey.
For years I used to wet the bright blue mascara from Dior. Too pricy for ow ling a tube lasts me. It days out wayyy too fast and I find at the end of the day my eyes were irritated from it being on my lashes. They changed the color without letting customers know and discontinued my normal one I used to buy. Waterproof one is super hard to remove and I found I was loosing eyelashes or they were breaking off more
This mascara doesn't make my lashes fuller by applying it normally. I have to apply it with the tips of the brush in order to make my lashes longer and then apply it the normal way. It's abit annoying because there are normally alot of product on the tip of the brush so sometimes it makes my lashes look very clumpy. It also transfers sometimes. It will work great for people with longer lashes but it just doesn't work for my short lashes.
The packaging is super cute. The product however is basic. I mean it's Dior, I'm expecting to have gorgeous eyelashes after an application from a $30 mascara.
Gives me nice lashes. However, I find it very hard to remove even when using make up remover.
I have tried so many mascaras over the years and although I am a big fan of other Dior products... this one was a fail! For the price I paid, I had very high expectations. Instead I go a mascara that was thick, clumpy and hard to work with. After some separating with a pin and a some serious fussing, it looked great. I would not recommend this mascara!
I found this mascara OK. It made my eyelashes full but at the same time, gave them a dry brittle look. I had some flakiness throughout the day and im not a fan of the rose scent. For this price, I'd rather buy Benefit's They're Real mascara- amazing.
I have tried many different brands of mascara. I wanted to try a higher end brand rather than the drugstore brands I usually buy. I read many reviews and decided on the "Dior - Diorshow" mascara. I paid just over $30 for this and I would not purchase this item again. I found it to be quite clumpy both on the wand and on my eyelashes. The wand is enormous and this causes it to smear around my eyes when I am applying it. I expected it to exceed my expectations because of the price and name. I have tried drugstore mascaras that I would prefer to use for only a fraction of the price. I was quite disappointed. It does gives you a dramatic look since it is very dark but you can find that in many other mascaras for under $15 so I would not recommend this product.
I bought this mascara in a combo pack with the lash serum at Sephora. I was excited to use it due to alot of positive reviews. However it didn't live up to my expectations. The brush was difficult to figure out how to use. Also once the mascara was set, the tips of my lashes drooped down so I stopped using it. It may work for long lashes but not short straight ones like mine.
