Pretty

This Jasmine doll is very pretty and a perfect gift for any girls or boys who love Jasmine (either version!). This doll is particularly based on the more modern ‘live-action’ Aladdin movie that was just released recently. Instead of the classic Jasmine design, her outfit is more elaborate. It’s a shame that the shirt is moulded on as opposed to being a removable item of clothing, like the pants, but that’s a minor quibble. The hair is also messier than in the product photos, but that’s always the case with these dolls.

As always, it’s attached to the packaging in a very annoying manner. I recommend using a pair of nail clippers to clip all the plastic ties without cutting her hair accidentally.

The pants are flowy, somewhat stiff and beautifully designed, they are really very pretty with their peacock theme. The shoes are your standard high-heeled doll shoes with a split up the back for putting them on easier. The face is impeccably painted, very beautiful!

When you press the jewel on her neck, she will sing a few lines from the new version of A Whole New World. Make sure you use the switch on the back to turn it from demo mode, or she will only sing one line.

Overall, it’s a very pretty doll that will please any fan of this revamped Disney character!
