At first I wasn't really into it but after reading the books they are so much better than the movie.

The story lacks an original plot, and falls into the generic end of the dystopian bookshelf. Despite what fans may say, it has an uncanny similarity to the hunger games. It's a run of the mill book with one too many cliches.

Amazing! This series is so good - the characters really draw you in! Really great story line and not predictable - which is awesome.

This is definitely an interesting series. I really enjoyed the premise. It definitely reads a bit on the young side. I found it a very easy read, but was very entertained and couldn't put them down.

I loved this series...except for the last book. It's not the ending I wanted, but I'm not the author so it's not my call. I would still recommend this series to anyone looking for an easy read.

These books were such an amazing read. I could not put them down, they were such a easy read, and always kept you on the edge of your seat!

Divergent is definitely one of the best series that I've invested my time into. The first 2 books (Divergent and Insurgent) were AMAZING!! They took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions and I couldn't put them down. I couldn't stop thinking about them (to the point of having dreams about serums!). The 3rd book (Allegiant) was just okay IMO. It's more on the technical side and there is a lot of science talk. It was a tough read IMO. It's told in both of the main characters POV and sometimes I found it hard to know which chapter belonged to who. I found myself having to flip to the beginning of each chapter to see who was talking. I won't post any spoilers but the ending KILLED me! LOVE this book series and really hope everyone who likes these type of books can appreciate it the way that I have.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this book - I expected it to be a rip off of the Hunger Games but I found that the story was unique and so original. The first two books in the series are the strongest and I really hated the ending of the third book but overall, totally loved them!

Now I know I'm not a young adult, but this series gave me something great to read and something to talk about with my teen daughter.....allllll those who have teen girls can commiserate!
