Great for marshmallow lovers.

I seen these Dolly Snowball Cakes at Giant Tiger and thought I would give them a try. They were quite unique and even though I'm not a big marshmallow fan they were ok. It's pretty much a huge marshmallow rolled in coconut with a chocolate cake inside. The cake is slightly dry tasting but it contains a white cream creamy frosting centre that made it bearable. If i paid 1.25 for 6 of these indivually wrapped cakes like the previous reviewer I would purchase them again but since i paid a little over two dollars for the box I would definitely rather purchase something else for that price. They just don't have a high quality taste in my opinion.

Too sweet

These snack cakes look better than they taste. The chocolate cake and creamy middle are fine but the marshmallow coconut topping is too thick and chewy. Not that tasty.

I am addicted to these snow ball cakes! You can buy these at Dollarama for $1.25. Each individual package comes with 2 snow ball cakes. These are heaven in your mouth because they combine all wonderful flavors. The top layer is a large fluffy marshmallow with shredded coconut all over it. You can really get the flavor and texture of the coconut while you eat the delicious marshmallow that feels like a cloud in your mouth. There is a chocolate cake that is filled with a sweet vanilla cream hidden inside the marshmallow layer. The chocolate cake is a bit dry but you can't really taste that because the cream is light and smooth. This treat is sweet but not too sweet. I keep going back for more!
