Sticking with my normal Stick

I didnt find that this product left me feeling as fresh about myself as my other Dove Deodorant. I felt this was a little odd feeling when applied as well - almost like it sits on top of the skin. I didnt stink after wearing it, but after a whole day - I just felt like I needed to shower.

Smells nice, in the container!

I was happy to get this in the mail when I did! We'd just gotten back from a trip, and had no clue where my regular deodorant had vanished to. Plus, it smelled amazing.

Sadly, that's where the joy ended.

It lasts all of five seconds when using, even when not doing anything intense (unless hanging out and playing video games is a workout!) And when it's all you have after an actual workout, pew!!

Am really disappointed, as the scent is lovely, but otherwise, it's a stinker!

Better product for winter!

I've been using natural, aluminum-free deodorant for a couple of years and was happy to find out that Dove created this 0% aluminum formula that's available to the masses.

My first impression is that deodorant smells lovely and does a good job at moisturizing your armpits, but sadly doesn't keep your pits odor-free all day in the summer heat. The formula goes on slightly sticky but since it is clear it doesn't leave white residue on your clothes or underarms. Unfortunately, I can only see myself using this deodorant in the winter when I don't sweat as much or on days where I don't leave the house but want to make sure I stay odor -free.

Doesn't work when active

Initially, I loved this deodorant. It smelled great and seemed to work well. It didn't leave white marks on my clothes either which is a bonus. However, I sit at a desk most of the day and that was the only time it was effective. I used it (and put it on twice) in the evening when I was being more active and moving around a lot and it didn't protect from smelly armpits. I had to ask my boyfriend to bring me my Degree deodorant as i was self conscious. I would wear this brand again during the week when am not so active, as I do like the fact that there is 0 aluminum. However, on days when I am more active, I will definitely use my other brands as they protect more from odor.

It’s just okay for me

So, I have been using anti-perspirants for a long time. This is a first for me. There are definitely pros and cons with the product but for me, it’s a no.
PROS:
1. No aluminum. Definitely a plus since it could be linked to breast cancer
2. Since it does not have any aluminum with it, it won’t leave that yellow stain on your white shirts
3. Left my underarm feeling smooth
4. Nice smell- not a very strong scent

CONS:
1. It has a weird sticky feeling after putting it on
2. Smell does not last very long. Maybe that just has something to do with my own body chemistry
3. Definitely reminds me how sweaty I get with workouts

I will try using other another deodorant with no aluminum with it but for now, it is a pass for me. Would I recommend it to my friends? Yes because it’s still a good product

deodorant / no anti-perspirant

I tried the dove 0% aluminium deodorant and it does smell very nice ( coconut and pink jasmine ) but I still sweat, I mowed the lawn and I had to to go in and wash and reapplied to give it another chance, but still sweating. But it does smell very nice, maybe if you put some anti-perspirant in it would work a lot better. For now I'm gonna return to my old deodorant / anti-perspirant.

Lovely Scent

I recently had the chance to try Dove 0% Aluminium Deodorant in Coconut and Pink Jasmine scent @ChickAdvisor #GotItFree.

I love the fresh scent of this deodorant but sadly it falls short for me as a deodorant. This product glides on very smoothly as it seems to have a softer texture compared to my usual brand. Once applied I was left with a slightly sticky feeling that gradually either wore off or transferred to my clothing. I generally only need to apply deodorant once a day but after a few hours the scent wore off and I felt I needed to reapply.

I continued to test this product for 7 days. I appreciate this product is aluminum free but it falls short for my personal hygiene needs.

Sticky Pits!

Hey!! I received this product to try free and give my honest review. I personally wouldn’t buy this nor would recommend it to friends. I found it wasn’t effective and I have ‘normal’ body sweat/odour. It left my armpits feeling sticky and chafed feeling. I loved the smell of it and the application was lovely. Just left me feeling sticky and gross afterwards.

Smells nice

I'm a person who sweats a lot so a good deodorant/ antiperspirant is very important.
I really liked the smell of the deodorant, it was smooth going on and nicely moisturizes.
I really like this product but the only downside, I had to reapply many times throughout the day, as it didnt absorb the wetness, so was a good antiperspirant.

A good step in the right direction...

Firstly, I love the idea of using an underarm product that has zero aluminum, so I think it's fantastic that such a huge player in the deodorant game has made the switch and spread awareness.
Unfortunately for me, this product did not live up to my expectations. I lead a fairly active lifestyle and go to the gym 3-6 times a week, an hour each time usually. The packaging boasts a "24 hour odor protection", and while the scent of the product is just lovely (I got the coconut and pink jasmine), it creates a less then desirable smell when mixed with perspiration.
I used this product on multiple occasions, mostly because when I received it, we were in the middle of a major heat wave. But even after the heat wave was over, I realized the deodorant was just not living up to its promise of odor protection.
It's a pass for me sadly, however I would be interested to try an antiperspirant version of this product!
