Nice No-Aluminium Deodorant

I was giving the Dove 0% Aluminium Deodorant Cucumber & Green Tea to try for free as part of the Chick Advisor Club (#gotitfree), and I was very excited to try a mainstreaming/drugstore no aluminium deodorant (yeah!) as I usually buy my "natural" deodorants in specialized stores.
The ingredient list is ok: I think it has too much emollients, perfume, and additives in it, but I really appreciated the sea butter which is really moisturizing for the skin. Should you be used to natural deodorants, you will not enjoy the smell as it is very strong when first applied and very far to any natural scent you would have ever encounter. It didn't match well with my natural BO, unfortunately. However, newbies to no-aluminium deos will love it (Note: Should you be in the process of switching to no-aluminium deodorants, give your body a couple of weeks to adjust before deciding if the deodorant is right for you or not. The body takes time to adjust to more naturals products so you'll be sweating more and smelling more for a couple of days/weeks).
As for effectiveness, Dove states that it will last 24 hours. It does not. It lasted about 12 hours and I stayed indoors with the AC on. I don't expect any "natural" deodorant to last that long anyway, so more than 10 hours is pretty good.
Will continue using and will probably buy whenever it is on sale. It is a no-fuss deodorant, and I really enjoyed trying it. It is really nice to have now that option in drugstores. Thank you Dove!

Great fragrance

Always loved dove products since a teenager my mom always bought it. I Absolutely love the smell as well as the aluminum free aspect. This will definitely be my new go to deodorant. The only negative thing was that after a few hrs of sweating here in Nova Scotia my pits had white sticky residue. I did wipe it off and the smell remain, not as strong but it was there a bit.

Smells soft

WELL first off ..Love all Dove products #Gotitfree #tryDoveZeroAluminum .Love the size of this deordrant,the smell is a soft smell and it goes on like silk ,not a wet deodorant or a dry one ,felt really nice.Unlike some deodrants which are chalky and clumpy and hard . We have heat wave here in Novascotia so this was perfect .It kept me dry all day and i smelled nice when a cool breeze passed over me I could smell this .Very nice deodorant I will be switching thanks @Dove

Could be better

Super excited to use. No aluminum, good for my brain right! What's good for my brain isn't so good for my pits. I'm used to salt deodorant and was excited to try this. But my past practice has made me very scent sensitive. This scent is too strong for me. Again, past practice is really just salt water and out the door. This is sticky. My arm pits kept sticking to themselves all day. Definitely not enjoyable in a tank top. At the end of the day, I had bits of fluff and hair stuck in there.
My regular salt stick takes about 30 seconds per side. This is super quick, 3s max! But the time is saves me, the stickiness and the strong smell are not something I will continue with. I will keep on hand to use occasionally. Maybe it will dry out a bit over time and become less sticky. But unfortunately, I don't see me using this daily long term.

A new fav

I've really struggled finding a deodorant that is both gentle & effective and have gone through quite a few recently. I've found that Dove is usually a win when it comes to products in general, and was very excited to receive this deodorant and to see that it was aluminum free. I've been using recently with a couple verly hot days and it's definitely holding up my tender pits are having no rashes or smells. Just such a nice fresh scent. I'm loving it.

Wow..just wow

Wow! I have been looking for a better alternative to just regular deodorants and this is amazing! It goes on smooth and doesn't get globby after a few hours. I stayed dry all day. The scent is very clean and beautiful but not too strong. I really like it!

Light and fresh

I received this free as a part of dove's Campaign with Dove. I was pleasantly surprised because it went on smooth and non-chalky. It did not clump or get gunky after a couple of hours. It is also long-lasting which was fresh and crisp, making it perfect for summer. I did wish the cucumber scent was a little less and the green tea a little more. But good investment in general, considering the amount. One swipe goes a long way and one doesn't have to layers it multiple times.

Promesse tenue

J'ai eu le plaisir d'essayer ce deodorant et j'ai été agréablement surprise. Je n'ose pas en choisir un en crème habituellement de peur de tâcher mais vêtement de blanc ensuite. Dans ce cas-ci, aucun résidu!! Également, même pas journée de canicule, je n'ai pas senti de mauvaises odeurs s'échapper de mes aisselles. Ces 2 points mis ensemble, c'est un produit gagnant pour moi!

Smells Great

I received this product for free for my honest opinion, I got the cucumber and green tea scent, and the first thing I noticed was the scent, it smells very crisp and clean. I love how smooth it glides on and does not leave any white or greasy residue, on your pits or on your clothing which is a plus! and the scent lasts for a long time as well which I like very much. Now that I have tried this one I want to try the other scent as well. I have been a one brand girl for a long time, but I think I just found my new deodorant! #tryDoveZeroAluminum
