Great for curly hair!

I have long naturally curly hair & have been using a moisture shampoo/conditioner combo from Aveda that I purchase from my hair dresser which costs approximately $35 each. They work well & smell great, but the cost! So when I found out about the Dove Quench Absolute, I had to give it a whirl! I didn’t get them,(shampoo & conditioner) on sale, so I found the cost to be a bit much for Dove products-approx $14 each. However, they smelled nice & the bottles/tubes are a decent size. I found that it worked really well, you don’t need much to get a good lather & it rinses clean easily. In combo with the conditioner, I found it a close second to the Aveda & significantly less cost!

Made my hair so soft!

I received a free mini sample of this and after one use I can honestly say that I love this Dove shampoo! It made my hair so soft and silky and I could notice it while in the shower! It smells amazing too like high end perfume! Once I brushed my hair while still wet I noticed how easily the brush slid through my hair and there were no tangles or anything! It was a breeze! My hair was still super soft the next day! I was very impressed!

Weird smelling, but did leave my hair really soft

Hair type: Short, naturally wavy, oily roots and a tendency towards dry ends. Natural, aging hair with some grey/white.

Style: Simple. Wash and let dry. Don't blow dry often and use pomade or other styling products on occasion.

I noticed right away after first use of this shampoo that my hair was immediately a lot softer and nicer compared to the last one I used. I probably wouldn't recommend it to people with short hair just because I did notice it gave a lot of volume and my hair was sticking up a little bit. In long hair, this wouldn't be an issue and would just make your hair more volumised, which is usually good for naturally wavy hair.

The one thing I didn't like about this shampoo was the smell. It's just a bit odd. There's a hint of cocoa, but apart from that just a kind of weird smell (not really sure how to describe it). Thankfully the smell doesn't really linger past washing and it's not so unpleasant that I'd be unable to use this shampoo again.

Used in conjunction with Dove Quench Absolute Conditioner 250ml

Smells lovely and made my hair feel great

This shampoo was perfect for my post-gym shower. It made me feel really clean and refreshed (which is great, considering how gross and sweaty I was pre-shower!).

I'd definitely recommend you give it a try. It feels like a salon-quality product - even the smell is salon-esque. I would probably purchase it again.

Love the packaging

This shampoo cleanses my hair well , and the sent is great. I found the product to be a little over priced but loved the container its great for the gym bag:) left my hair nourished but nothing wow

I tried this shampoo a couple of years ago when I was given a full size sample of the shampoo and conditioner. I immediately stopped buying my high-end haircare products and have used this shampoo ever since. I have long straight hair that tends to be oily at the scalp and dry at the ends. This is the first shampoo I've ever been satisfied with. I frequently get compliments on how my hair smells, too! If it cost double, I'd still buy it.

I got a trial of this shampoo (with conditioner) and I was surprised that a drug store brand can be so good !! My hair is permed curly - and I have been doing it for more than 10 years, so it is definitely dried and pretty fried. This shampoo feels very moisturizing as I lather it into my hair. I don't love the scent though - it seems like a scent for a more mature crowd.

Best shampoo ever. I have naturally curly hair and dry as well, so it quenches and manages my curls. Feels healthier with each wash and my curls no longer look frizzy

Wowwww juste wow cest LE shampoing que jai tjrs attendu! Il sent super bon et ce quil fait avec mes cheveux cestnjuate incroyable! Jai les cheveux qui veulent onduler mais pas forcément beau, avec le shampoing quand je les attache lousse pour les laisser secher sans séchoir, mes cheveux devien avec un ondulation du tonnerre et sans frisoti! Cest definitivement une merveille pour que je lai adopter puisque je le trouve quand meme un peu cher pour le format
