This made my pits stinky

So I’ve used natural deodorants before and usually like them but I’m not sure if it is the lemongrass scent or the formulation but there was a weird reaction in my underarms and I was wondering who stunk and then realized it was me. I am so scared to use this again. I used it for 3 days or so. So very scared. Hopefully others have had better experience?? #trieditfree

Dove Care by Plants deodorant

I was so excited to try this deodorant since I'm a big fan of Dove's regular deodorant stick. I like that Dove is trying to be greener and cleaner, but I found this lacking what I needed in a deodorant.

I have a very physical job that includes a lot of movement and heavy lifting. I sweat a fair bit and require a deodorant that will hold up. This didn't do the job.

First, there was the smell. I'm a fan of citrus and this smells really good I'm just not a fan of the citrus smell in my arm pits. It clashed with the scent of my perfume. I prefer a light, clean fragrance. Also I found that the smell combined with the sweat and didn't smell very good and left me feeling self conscious at work.

The consistency of the deodorant was similar to Dove's regular deodorant, it was soft and silky and made my armpits feel nice.

I'll hold on to this deodorant for my off days or when I'm not too physical but I definitely won't be using this for work days or sticky, hot, summer days.
