Smooth Hippie freshness!

Okay so, after finally receiving this full size Dove Care by Plants - Tea Tree deodorant I have to say it was worth the wait! If come across other natural deodorants in the past that left a weird feeling/texture or would only mask the scent of body odor. This is not one of those. The stick has a great feel and slides smoothly across the skin while the tea tree leaves you feeling refreshed and earthly. For a natural deodorant I'm content and would buy this again. Smells great, but doesn't last long

I was happy to be accepted to try this, as I am always on the hunt for different Natural deodorants. I've tried MANY. I was hopeful that this would be another great find. It smelt great, felt great, but unfortunately didn't pass the smell test. I was already reapplying half way through my day. If a natural deodorant doesn't work for more than 12 hours, it's not a good one for me. Thanks for the opportunity to test it though. Maybe it will work for someone else I know.

Better than most

I have tried Dove 0 and Schmidt’s in the past…always feel wet underarms and stinky. This was better - not wet and liked the tea tree scent. Would purchase but only if on sale.

Good option for natural deodorant

I was very intrigued when I received this dove deodorant because I was unaware they made a natural one deodorant without aluminum and paraben free. The texture goes on smooth and has a light natural scent. My only complaint is that it doesn’t keep odour away for 24hrs for me. However I would still purchase because I like the texture and scent better than other natural deodorants that I have tried in the past.

All-Day Protection without the Worry

The first thing I noticed about this product upon application is that you can really smell the tea tree a mile away. I’m used to using fairly lightly scented deodorants, so this one took me a bit aback, and my husband noticed it right away from another room. Thankfully although we sometimes don’t handle strong scents well, the tea tree being natural wasn’t too overwhelming or off-putting to us. I now know I can use much less and still get the same benefit. Nonetheless, others may not be able to handle or enjoy the scent, so it’s one of those products where you should already know how much you like tea tree before you buy it as it can’t be returned.
I really like that it’s made mostly from natural ingredients and recycled packaging, and most importantly that it lives up to its claims of lasting all day long. It really gives me the confidence I need to go about my day without worrying about getting smelly when I’m sweaty, as I perspire heavily, especially in stressful situations, which brings on odours. The tea tree is a great benefit when it comes to this as it kills the bacteria that causes the odours, so you naturally don’t smell and it’s not just heavily scented to mask the odour, which never works, at least not for me. The tea tree does have one other affect though that may not be welcome by all, especially if you get cut or nicks under your arm, there may be some stinging at the site upon application, so that’s one other thing to look out for other than the potent tea tree scent. However, both of these characteristics don’t really bother me, and it wasn’t painful to the point where I would discontinue using it. It just made me aware that I had some minor abrasions under my arm.
As much as I’ve been enjoying the product, I’m still on the fence about whether I would buy it going forward. Although I don’t mind the tea tree scent, it’s a bit much for everyday use for me. Maybe if I could find another scent in this line of products with similar bacteria-killing properties, I might switch to one of those instead. For the time being, I will continue to use this one till it’s finished and see if it grows on me.

Love it but not the smell

I really like this product but I am not a fan of the smell. I find it's got the strong tree tea oil smell. Other than that it's a great product. If they change the smell I'll purchase it.

Gentle and effective

I’ve been conscious of aluminum in my deodorants and got this Dove Care by Plants to try. I’ve tried a few other natural deodorants and really liked this one! It’s aluminum and paraben free.

First the Tea Tree scent isn’t too overpowering, it’s very smooth to apply compared to other deodorants. The only thing is it isn’t 100% invisible so I did see a few marks as I wasn’t careful when I put my black shirt on. The deodorant did work for 24 hours but I wasn’t doing anything to strenuous, I’ll see the effectiveness when the weather gets warmer, so far happy with this deodorant.

Long Lasting Coverage

This is a super enjoyable scent that is gender neutral and usable for everyone. I have sensitive skin and after using this product I have seen no reaction other than smelling better! This is something that I would definitely tell someone who is looking for a natural deodorant, that smells good and is soft on your skin this is the best choice I've found yet!

Worked well for me!

#gotitfree I was worried when I received it that the tea tree oil smell would be INTENSE, but it was just the perfect amount. I didn’t find that I had any problems with transfer on to my clothes or a stink partway through the day.
