Pleasant smelling antiperspirant

Dove Clinical Protection Cool Essentials Antiperspirant glides on smoothly for an even application. I love the gentle fragrance. However, I don’t feel it lives up to the claim of providing “protection against wetness all day”.

Actually works

I enjoy using this anti-persipirant as it works and does not leave marks on my clothes. I enjoy the the light scent as it does not bother my allergies or does it overpower any other product scents I want to wear

Best deodorant I’ve had so far for hyperhydrosis

I have had hyperhydrosis issues for years and have tried every deodorant out there. I also get Botox in my underarms. My doctor recommended this and it’s the best one I’ve tried so far although i still stink when i get home from work - oh well lol. I don’t like that it’s a cream vs a clear gel as it sometimes gets on my clothes but it’s something I’m willing to deal with.

If you have allergies or Eczema, this might work

The weird thing I find is that after the whole day, you can't smell the scent anymore, but you also can't smell any sweat either. There just seems to be a whole lot of nothing.

I have never had a breakout due to it, been using it for at least 2 years now. I have naturally dry skin, many allergies and eczema.

It hasn't ruined any clothing that I could tell.

I find it very light, it is almost like a mousse, when you level it up the tube. It never feels cold either, and it normally sits in my purse on a hook at the outside kitchen door. This might not seem like a big deal, but I have had gel sticks freeze, and it is unpleasant.

The only thing I am not impressed by is the quantity. My old sticks I could get in a size 74g for about $4CAD normal price, and like $2CAD on sale. These never go on sale, and are always about $7.50ish CAD(Depending where you go in canada). The real kicker is for that price you only get 45g. For $15.50ish CAD you can get 100g in a big long tube.

Love the Foam!

I tried "Dove Foam Bath" I am amazed! The fragrance is so fresh, it moisturizes,a little goes a long way,(so I feel it makes it economical)I would recommend this product to everyone!

Super refreshing and useful!

Have used this deodorant when in very hot countries or throughout the summer. I’ve had no problems with it! It smells great, refreshes my armpits and keeps me feeling confident about not smelling’

Best deodorant for keeping dry

I sweat a lot, and I work in an environment where I am in the heat and moving constantly so i work up a sweat.
I use to reapply deodorant a couple times a day and was very conscious of what I wore.
After trying the Dove Clinical Protection I have been so happy about not sweating a ton and also not having sweat marks on my clothes. I only apply it at night before bed and it lasts me a full day even in the hot climate of a restaurant kitchen.
It also doesn’t dry out my underarms like a lot of the clinical deodorants do.
I know some people are not into using the regular deodorants and prefer “natural” alternatives but I unfortunately do not want to scare people off with my sweatiness and possible stickiness.
I am truly happy I found this deodorant and that it works great.

I won’t buy this again.

I use a clinical strength deodorant on a regular basis. I have tried a few different brands to see which I like best. I wasn’t impressed with the Dove. The scent is lovely, and it leaves the skin feeling smooth, but it didn’t work well for me. I sweated more, and had more odour with Dove then I did with my go to brand. My favourite clinical strength deodorant is Secret.

I love this a.p. It fully WORKS, and the scent of this particular type is AWESOME. Its notes are FRESH and CLEAN. You can find it anywhere.

Smell is too sweet but works well

The first few days using it I didn't find it as effective as others I had used, but I think that was due to the product not being pushed up enough to come out so I was applying too lightly. In the packaging it says to turn it two clicks, but often that is not enough, especially when the cream has not begun to 'push through' properly for the first quarter of the stick.

After it started to push through more I was pretty happy. When I'd forget to apply deodorant (I had a stressful few days) and smell myself at night I couldn't detect any odours. I don't really love the smell of this. Rather than a fresh, watery, slightly zesty cucumber smell, this has a really perfumed scent. If you're not a fan of perfumey sweet smells I would avoid this one.

I really like the cream texture and how it applies, but my one big negative would be that I did notice it's quite 'sticky' under the arms after a day or two and I prefer something that keeps you really dry. It didn't cause any irritations though, just as expected from Dove!
