Not much different from regular anti-perspirant

I usually love Dove products but for me, the clinical protection isn't more effective than regular anti-perspirant. It doesn't do a bad job, but for the increased cost, there isn't an increase in effectiveness. I will continue to use regular Dove anti-perspirant products.

Not like it

I bought this because my friends really recommended it for its strength and quality. But I did not like it. This is clinical strength but it just didnt work for me. Didnt like its staying power. Nothing great for me unfortunately. I prefer mt gel based regular deodrant over this.

I sweat quite a bit, therefore I need a clinical strength anti-perspirant. I bought this thinking it would work since it's clinical. It didn't do any better than regular deodorant on the market.

It smells nice when you first apply it but later on it does not conceal the smell of sweat and actually makes you feel worse. It leave white residue on clothes. The applicator actually 'melts' (ie. if you leave it on the dresser you will find it stains the dresser). Terrible product especially for the price.

I waited forever to review this product because I just could not make up my mind about whether or not I liked it. I supposed that right there tells you everything you need to know…

I am always switching deodorant brands because I have never been truly satisfied with anything I have used. Most work for a while and then stop being as effective, so I switch. Anyway I decided to try out one of the clinical versions that every brand seems to be coming out with. I went with Dove because I use their deodorant most frequently and I trust them.

I was simply not blown away. I did not find this product worked any better than your average deodorant, and for more than double the price I feel that it should do more than double the job. It doesn’t.

I should say (and this is something that held me back from getting the clinical version until now) is that the box states that you're supposed to apply it before you go to bed, so it can be absorbed while you sleep, and then you do not have to apply it in the morning when getting dressed. I thought that was bizarre and was worried that since I shower in the morning, I would be washing all the product off. Well, when you open the box the detailed instructions explicitly state that this is not the case. So if that same concern is holding you back, fear not.

(However I should note that it felt really weird to have bare underarms in the morning. I definitely felt like I was missing something. I suppose if I had experienced incredible results, this would not have been the case).

Overall I can't say that I recommend this product. I am not going to say it doesn't work, because it works as well as your average deodorant, but if you're looking for something spectacular, I would save your money.

I tried Dove Clinical Strength for roughly 2 weeks with absolutely NO RESULTS! I still went to work and sweat my armpits off... It was only a VERY SLIGHT improvement, not even worth mentioning however!!!
I then went back to Shoppers, and baught the most expensive one, DRYSOL - Which I would give 10000 stars for if I could... After only 2 nights, I already see a massive difference... To the point where I dont even sweat AT ALL. My armpits are completely dry all day, and I dont even need to wear deodorant during the day at all cause it stops odor and everything.... After just 2 nights!!! After that, I only need to use it every 3 nights now :) LOVE IT... Thats My biggest recommendation!!! DRYSOL IS MY HERO! (Although be prepared to pay $25... but luckily it kicks in after just 2 nights.)
