I kindly received this product as part of the product review club. Also, not only did I get this wonderful body wash but a beautiful bath sponge loofa thingy. I was glad that they included this because the body wash does not lather up much on its own, although it does moisturize just fine without the lather.
I really do like this product a lot. It took me a while to decide this though, because I didn't see the immediate results that I am used to. When I first started using this body wash I was acutally a little dissapointed. From the first few washes my skin did not feel soft and sliky like I had expected, but rather remained the same. I came later to understand that this was because this body wash doesn't sit on top of your skin like other body washes. I was so used to the lotioned feeling left by the other body washes that I was expecting the same result from this product. However the result ended up being much much better! Rather than having a coating of moisutrizers just dumped ontop of my skin this body was absorbed into my skin. I felt clean after my shower, and then after a week or so of use my skin started to become much softer. It was not the temporary solution of a layer of moisturizer stuck ontop of the dry skin - but rather it got rid of my dry skin all together! I know this is what it said it would do, but I didn't expect it to live up to its claims so well! I have very dry skin, and very senstive skin but this product really did make a huge difference on my skin without irratating it at all.
This body wash is also very delicately fragranced. It is a smell just strong enough to just be noticed and leave you feeling and smelling clean, without noticablly lingering or skin irratating. I didn't feel like I smelt stongly like soap afterwards, which I personally like because I wear perfume and I don't like the mix in scents.
The only thing about this body wash that was a personal downside for me is that it could not tackle the skin on my legs. There is good reason to this I figure, though. My legs are shaved every day and thus my senstive skin is always very dry. This particular area needs daily exfloiation and/or a lotion to 'hide' the dead skin. This particular type of Dove's body wash did not have an exfolator like I am used to, and it does not slather your skin in moisturizer that sits on your skin and 'hides' the dry skin. Because of this I have to put a little more effort into my routine and I have to exfoliate my legs and/or moisturize them with a lotion after my shower. However, this small amount of effort is well worth the effects of the body wash!
I really like this body wash a lot and I am very grateful to have received it through the product review club. I will most certainly be purchasing this body was for myself again, and recomending it to anyone I know with dry skin. If you are tired of slathering moisturizers over your dry skin to cover it up, and are looking for soft smooth healthy skin I most certainly urge you to try this product!

The product is marketed as "superior natural nourishment for your skin", which is recommended for dry skin. The Dove line of products already has body wash products that are geared towards dry skin (like the Cream Oil body washes, which I use as well), but the main differentiating factor may be that this is comprised of natural ingredients.

Having tested it in last hot throes of summer, the body wash itself is actually quite effective. It lathers in a satisfying way on a poof, cleans, and leaves skin feeling beautifully soft. I usually use a moisturizing lotion after my showers but with this body wash I did not have to do so, and my skin still felt great. One caveat should be made: this review is being down in the summer and it may not be the case in the dry winter season.

I have dry/dehydrated skin and having a moisturizing body wash makes a huge difference. Some products on the market are not moisturizing enough (leaving skin feeling taut and dry), while others are too "heavy" and leave a weird film on your skin after the shower. This product is pitch perfect, leaving skin soft, smooth and clean!

Other reviewers have mentioned a "soap-y" smell, but I didn't have a problem with it. It is similar to the traditional Dove barsoap smell, which smells "clean" to me. It is not a cloyingly sweet or overpowering smell, so it is actually quite nice. Perhaps Dove will create a fragrance-free formulation for this, as they are wont to do for sensitive skin types.

Overall, I would rank this higher than comparable products on the market (Aveeno, Olay with Ribbons) and I would re-purchase this product when it runs out. Hopefully this will stand up to the test of cold Canadian winters!

I received this product through chickadvisor product review. It is absolutely amazing because usually with my other body washes I need to moisturize after I come out of the shower because they dont moisturize as much as they clean; but this Dove body wash is so creamy that after I wash not only do I feel absolutely cleaner than with my other body washes, I also feel the difference in my skin. I have dry skin and I tend to get sort of sticky after a long day, but after I used this body wash for 2 weeks straight my skin is noticeably soft and I no longer have dry skin and I never get sticky and sweaty. Its always just baby soft skin. The smell is pleasant and not very noticeable which I like because it leaves a light scent that doesnt conflict with whatever perfume or cream I put on. I definitely recommend it!

It is moisturizing, however my hands are extremely dry so it didn't help my hands very much. The rest of my body feels very moistured and smooth. I especially like it because it is very light and not too creamy or heavy. I like this more than the other Dove body washes in terms of moisturization. It would be better if they can some fruity scent to it, although the current smell is still good and I don't mind at all. Overall, very good product, I only use body washes so would definitely buy this again.

I got this thanks to the wonderful ladies and gents at Chick Adviser, so I don't know what it costs, and the Internetz have not been too useful, but Dove products generally cost around 6 bucks, and you can get it on sale for even cheaper, which I think is reasonable.

I don't use high end moisturizing body washes, but this feels like it. It's very luxurious, and feels AMAZING going on and coming off. Make sure to use it with a pouf for best results (peels off that dead skin too). I've never had a body wash that after a hot shower I felt like my skin was still soft.

Bottom line, it's a really great product. Especially if you're like me and have dry skin, this is AWESOME. And this keeping in mind that in general I've not been a fan of Dove moisturizing products because my skin feels dryer after.

I absolutly love Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash with NutriumMoisture! The smell isn't too strong and overpowering...its very light and nice. It foams up really well so you don't have to use a ton of it at once. The best part is that it's great for shaving! It keeps your skin moisturized for a really long time and doesn't leave dry spots like some other body washes that I have used. I will definatly be keeping this one in my shower at all times.

So I unfortunately went in with a pre-conceived notion about body wash. In the past, I would walk through the pharmacy, a new body wash would be staring me in the face. I would then cave, buy it and take it home with high expectations. I would use it once or twice, realize that it did nothing it claimed to do. It would sit in the shower until my dear husband would finally toss it n the trash.

Well, all this changed with Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash with NutriumMoisture.

My skin feels silky soft, which is a wonderful thing since I suffer from dry skin. I am sitting here in my towel after my shower, enjoying my baby soft skin (and I *am* a baby skin expert as I have a beautiful 14 month old baby!).

I like the thickness of the body wash. I like it gets absorbed nicely into the poof. I love how well it foams up. I love how nice it felt going on my body. I also liked how it washes off nice and clearly with no residue.

All in all, Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash with NutriumMoisture has changed my perceptions of body wash, I am sure I will use this bottle down to the last drop and seek out more of the product in the future!

I too received this product to test through ChickAdvisor, and all-in-all, I'm really glad I did! I don't know if I would have tried it otherwise (I've always been really happy with Olay shower creams), and I would have really been missing out on a great product! The number one benefit of this shower cream, in my opinion, is how soft/smooth and moisturized it leaves your skin. I noticed it right away, after only one use, and after several ues, my skin is still feeling much softer than it did before I started using this cream - I'll definitely keep buying it.

The only one thing I haven't LOVED about the Dove is the scent of it as it comes out of the bottle - it's very strong in the shower. However, once I've rinsed it off and dried after the shower, the scent on my skin is not overpowering, and not unpleasant - so I don't mind a little bit oof overpowering in the shower - it's worth it for the way my skin feels afterward.

I would (and will) definitely recommend this product to friends and/or anyone who suffers from drier skin (especially as the drier/colder months approach). I'm really looking forward to having soft skin this winter! Thanks Dove, for the great product!

This wash was wonderful to my skin. My skin was extra dry from the air conditioning so I washed with this for a week, and I saw softening skin.

I don't usually use body wash THAT often, but I was very excited to try this product!
After 2 days of use, I already noticed that my skin had become a lot smoother and softer. After a full week, my skin was as soft as a baby's! I think I might stick with this body wash! :) I was pleasantly surprised at the effect it had on my skin; It definitely does what it claims it does.
One thing I really loved about this body wash was that it smelled really nice! It had a really clean & fresh scent that is subtle but stays with you for the majority of the day.
I also noticed that a little goes a long way especially when used with a loufa so I was excited to see that one was included when the body wash arrived at my door.
Overall, I would definitely purchase this and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a body wash that really delivers the moisture it promises.
