This body wash didn't do it for me. I also got this product through the Product Review Club. I was excited to give it a try because it pretty much advertised all the things i want in a body wash. I used it faithfully for over a week and was somewhat disappointed in the results. It's pretty much your average body wash and does what most others do. I was mostly disappointed because i wasn't left with soft, smooth skin like i would expect from Dove. In fact, my skin almost seemed as dry, if not drier than it normally is. My skin was slightly flaky. I still felt the need to use a moisturizer after i showered. The body wash wasn't necessarily bad though. It is a much thicker formula than most body washes and has a nice lather to it. The smell was fresh and clean, and not too overpowering. It was nice and smooth and kind of glides over your body. So overall, the in-shower experience was alright. But i found it just didn't live up to what it advertised. So while it wasn't necessarily a bad body wash, it just wasn't amazing. I wouldn't reccommend it because it doesn't do anything that other body washes can't.

I received this body wash from the product review club.
    Pros: - really great lather
    - does make skin smoother, but I still had to use moisturizer, so it didn't replace it

Cons: - not a huge fan of the smell. It smells a lot like bar soap, which I didn't really like
    - I wouldn't buy it myself, it's overpriced for what it is

Overall, it does do what it says it should do. I wasn't overly impressed. I have used other products just like it and I've liked other Dove products better.

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Review Club. I've been using the product for over a week and really, I haven't found anything special about it. It's not necessarily bad either, but I still feel the need to moisturize after I shower. I have fairly dry skin and have not noticed any difference. It comes out very thick and creamy which is nice, and it does have a decent lather as well. The scent is subtle, but I'm not a fan of it really. It sort of smells like oatmeal. Overall, it's just okay.

I received this body wash in the mail as a product review. I usually use the Dove Body wash with little exfoliateing beads.

This body wash doesn't have a strong scent but it is thicker than the usual body washes. It essentially feels the same as a normal body wash. If you want something with no perfume, this is it. I'll stick to my other Dove body wash as it smells like clean watery rain (don't know if that makes sense). As for if it makes my skin softer than usual, that might be true as i don't feel as itchy as usual so no lotion required!!

I didn't really find anything special about this body wash, to me it was the same as most other brands I've used. I did like that the formula for this body wash is thicker than others I have used, so a smaller amount goes a long way, and it does not just drip off of my pouf right away. Something I did not really like about it was the scent, I prefer more fruity scents with my soaps, so this one just wasn't right for me. Another thing I noticed is that when I shaved with it is that it seems to clog up my razor a bit after rinsing it..it seemed like there was excess soap stuck to my skin that it was picking up (I haven't had this problem with shaving with other body washes).
I don't have a problem with dry skin at this time of the year, so I didn't really notice a difference when it came to how moisturizing it was. My skin felt the same after my shower with other bodywashes I use such as Softsoap. I would try this out again in the winter when dry skin is a big problem for me.

This was something that I really wanted to like, because most of the time I am too lazy to put lotion on after I shower.

    The good:
    - The scent is very very subtle. So if I want to use a scented lotion after, it would not compete with my body wash's scent.
    - It lathers up amazingly. It's such a joy to use in the shower.

    The bad:
    - I haven't noticed any difference on my skin after 2 weeks now. My legs still get itchy because of dryness, but maybe I have really dry skin? I don't know.

I've used moisturizing body washes before, and it's definitely better than Dove's here. If I actually use lotion regularly, then this would be my go-to body wash. But for now, it's a no for me.

Overall, I liked this and it was better than other Dove washes I have used. Personally, I still need to use lotion afterwards, but it was moisturizing. I liked the smell, but prefer to use products with a stronger scent - i suppose this would be good if you have sensitive skin/don't like fragrance. Overall a good product!

    Thanks again ChickAdvisor!

So. I tried this product thinking, "oh wow a body wash that mosturizes! that's great, I won't have to put on moisturizer after every shower!" .... Well, I was wrong, or I was dreaming. Cause that's not what happened. I usually buy a body wash that smells good because I always use moisturizer after anyways. So I was excited to us this product hoping it would save me a step in my morning routine. But after using this for about a week now I have still used moisturizer after because I still feel dry. It does make my skin soft, but overall this claims to be a moisturizing product, but I don't believe it does. I will stick to my wonderful smelling body wash, and continue to use lotion after showering.

ps-- I hate that I didnt like this product because I love Dove products as well as their body image campaign!

I tried this new body wash that promises moisturized skin without having to do the lotion step after you shower. I was hoping that it would really be something different, but I found it to be just like any other body wash. The texture was a nice thick lather (using a puff) and it felt good using it, but the smell was a little old ladyish. The main thing is that I didn't find that it added any moisture to my skin in the week or two that I used it. I actually was a little itchy the first couple days I used it, but that could be unrelated. So overall I think it was just your average body wash, nothing really bad about it, but nothing stood out as being special about it either. I'd buy it again if it was the brand that was on sale that week!

When it comes to body wash, I prefer lighter formulas, but I'm also really lazy about applying moisturizing cream after showering, so I was interested to see if the Dove Deep Moisture body wash could provide a nice 2-in-1 step. It was much thicker than the washes I usually buy, but it did rinse away nicely and leave my skin very soft in the shower and right after.

But in terms of long-term hydration, I wasn't overly impressed. After a week of use with additional moisturizing cream, my legs had a light layer of dry skin. My skin is not generally dry, so I was disappointed that the ultra-thick and lotion-y formula didn't do the trick on its own. And one thing that truly bugs me - the bottle design makes it impossible to leave it upside-down, and you can bet that it will be hard to get all the product out when it's almost empty. Who needs to wrestle with their body wash first thing in the morning?

I wouldn't advise against this, but I won't by it for myself.
