Loved it!

I receive this product for free, from Chickadvisor, for the purpose of review. I used this product in place of my regular conditioner until it was finished! I liked it that much! I tested the dry and itch relief version. I found the formula to be creamy, and required very little to condition my long hair. I have very dry scalp and dry ends, so a good conditioner is essential to me. I could comb easily through my hair after each use. It left my hair full and shiny, with little breakage or frizz. As I used this during winter months, I did notice a difference in the dryness of my call. It was improved greatly. I will purchase again.

love it

I was trilled to try this product free thanks to dove and chickadvsior. This conditioner used after the shampoo 1. helped my dry scalp and 2. made it actually possible to brush my crazy thick hair after using a scalp product which normally isn't possible at all.

Great scent- not so great at detangling

#gotitfree Thank you Dove & Chick Advisor! I received DOVE DERMA+CARE SCALP DRYNESS & ITCH RELIEF CONDITIONER to try for free for my honest review.

I have always loved Dove products because of how gentle they are and their great scents. I am pleased I was able to try it- I have both good and bad points to share.

The good- This conditioner had such a lovely smell (same as it's matching shampoo). It didn't have the gross normal smell of other dandruff products. It smelt like I just got my hair washed at a fancy salon. It also was gentle on my skin- it did not burn or sting my scalp and did not cause any bad reactions.


The not so good- I found my hair was still very tangled while rinsing out, brushing and while drying. My ends felt kind of dry once my hair was no longer wet.
Also my scalp looked oddly greasy by the end of the day. Usually I won't look greasy for a couple days. I don't know if this was caused by the shampoo or the conditionder. I've only got to try them together a few times. So I will need to test the products separately to see if it's both or just one.

I will say it's better than any other dandruff products I've used due to the scent and no irritations. I will keep testing the product. But for now I don't believe I would purchase this conditioner alone just because it did not really help detangle or moisturize my hair.

Works for Scalp

I received this product from Chick Advisor to try and review, along with the shampoo. I love the smell of the conditioner, and it seemed to work wonders on my scalp (which suffers from dryness and flakiness in the winter), however, I found that it left my shoulder-length thick hair feeling heavy and weighed down. I would consider buying it again and using it occasionally for relief of my dry scalp, however, it's not a conditioner I would use on a regular basis.

Soft shiny hair

I received DOVE DERMA+CARE SCALP DRYNESS & ITCH RELIEF CONDITIONER for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The conditioner was great. I have bleached hair so it's dry and often hard to brush when wet but after using this conditioner I could get a brush through my wet hair easily. My hair was soft and shiny and smelled good. My scalp did not flake from dryness or itch at all. I did not like the shampoo but the conditioner is a win for me! I just wish it was more natural, less chemicals, but it worked great anyway.

Just ok for me

Again it wasn't overly impressed with this product. Slow was okay. Not overpowering. I did notice a slight difference in the texture of my hair after using this. On the flip side my husband actually loved it. So I may possibly buy this again just not for myself.

Deeply conditioning and dryness relieving

Similar to Dove’s anti-dandruff shampoo, I would have never thought to turn to Dove for an anti-dandruff conditioner, but am very glad I got the chance to try this product after learning about it. In the winter my scalp can get dry and itchy, and found my scalp effectively relieved of these symptoms after using this conditioner. It felt very moisturizing and soothing to use, and my hair felt well conditioned and silky smooth afte finding out.

Great scent, comparable to other anti-dandruff conditioners

I received this product for free for review purposes. I love the scent of this conditioner, but I found it weighed my hair down too much. I have chin-length fine hair that's quite thick, and a very very sensitive scalp prone to dandruff. With other anti-dandruff conditioners I have had the same issue with my hair being too weighed down and never feeling clean. Unfortunately this was no different. That said, if you typically use anti-dandruff products and have success with them, I think it would be worth trying this line by Dove.

Love the feeling of my scalp now!

I have never not had a dry scalp that I can remember. Since using Dive Derma+ Scalp dryness and itchiness products I am so happy with my hair and no longer have a dry itchy scalp.
