DISAPPOINTING TREATMENT SHAMPOO

I tried this product because I have scalp psoriasis. It worked fairly well; however the results lasted only one day. If I purchased it again I would buy the shampoo only — the conditioner was too heavy so my hair laid flat and was impossible to style. Product is overpriced. Very disappointed.

Great scent- not so great at detangling

I have always loved Dove products because of how gentle they are and their great scents. I am pleased I was able to try it- I have both good and bad points to share.

The good- This conditioner had such a lovely smell (same as it's matching shampoo). It didn't have the gross normal smell of other dandruff products. It smelt like I just got my hair washed at a fancy salon. It also was gentle on my skin- it did not burn or sting my scalp and did not cause any bad reactions.


The not so good- I found my hair was still very tangled while rinsing out, brushing and while drying. My ends felt kind of dry once my hair was no longer wet.
Also my scalp looked oddly greasy by the end of the day. Usually I won't look greasy for a couple days. I don't know if this was caused by the shampoo or the conditionder. I've only got to try them together a few times. So I will need to test the products separately to see if it's both or just one.

I will say it's better than any other dandruff products I've used due to the scent and no irritations. I will keep testing the product. But for now I don't believe I would purchase this conditioner alone just because it did not really help detangle or moisturize my hair.

Not happy with this conditioner

While this is a very affordable product, it is not for me. I have waist length, straight hair. This conditioner dried out my hair to the point that I then needed to use an oil to not lose clumps of hair due to knots. I could not get a brush through my hair after using this product. Maybe it would work for short hair, but with long hair I would not recommend it.

Didnt care for

I was really excited for this conditioner that I received free through the Product Review Club. I liked the smell and texture of the product My hair combed out really well afterwards, no tangles...However after I was done my scalp was really itchy, and flaky, more so then before I used the product. I would use the product as a detangler before I would ever use it as a anti dandruff product.

Got rid of the itch but left my hair feeling blah

I got this product free to try from Dove and Chick Advisor. I will say that after using it for awhile my scalp was less dry and itchy. However, it left my hair feeling heavy and gross. I usually only wash my hair every couple of days and felt the need to wash more often with this. I just didn't like this product. Sorry Dove! Maybe I needed a different formula.

Good compliment to the Shampoo

The conditioner did not smell as good as the shampoo. Can't quite put my finger on what was off with the smell a little. It did work relatively well but was quite thick and creamy. Did leave my hair smooth and shiny and in conjunction with the shampoo next to no flakes. I tried this every other day with the shampoo and I was practically flake free.

I did try a different bran afterwards for a week and am shocked by how much flaking I am getting!

Great if ur hair and scalp are really dry

I was selected to try Dove Derma +care conditoner free. I wasn’t a huge fan of the conditoner I felt it made my hair greasy looking. It would be great to use if you have really dry scalp/ hair.
