Meh, not for me :(

Although I was really excited to try this product, I didn't find that it did anything to help my dry itchy scalp. If anything after using the product, I found my hair got oily more easily, maybe this is part of the moisturizing nature of the product? Although it smelled nice, this isn't enough to make me repurchase. It was a fail for me. #gotitfree

I would use this again

I was impressed first off by the smell which was soft and pleasant. You actually keep the shampoo on your scalp for a few minutes, which makes sense. I feel it helped with my itchy scalp quite shot, only after 2 uses! #tryDoveDandruff #gotitfree #thanksChickAdvisor

Especially during these long, dry, winter months fighting dandruff is typically not something ladies like to talk about. I had a very dry, itchy scalp that resulted in dandruff... yes, I will admit it. However, within a few day of using this, my scalp feels moisturized (not greasy) and my hair is super soft and smells great ALL DAY LONG!

Dove products never cease to amaze, as their price is always on pointe for a product that delivers. Will be purchasing again, and highly recommend this!! Thanks again Dove and ChickAdvisor!!

Keeps getting better!

First time I used it, I noticed a difference. The more often I use the product, the better results I seem to get. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who was looking for a new product to try. It even worked better than head and shoulders!

great shampoo! highly recommend!

I have fine dry hair with an occasionally itchy scalp. I was looking for a dandruff shampoo that would treat the dandruff without being harsh on my hair. Dove Dermacare is an effective solution for me. I use it 3-4 times a week and my itchy scalp has gone away. This does not leave my hair feeing like straw but I still needed to use the corresponding conditioner after washing with this. Has a nice fresh green scent. I even felt a pleasant minty sensation on my scalp when using the shampoo which was a nice bonus! I find this to be an affordable dandruff shampoo that treats dandruff without drying out my hair.

I received this yesterday morning and have used it twice so far.
Has a nice, light scent. Lathers well and rinsed clean easily. Shampoo is thick and rich.
My scalp felt soothed and hydrated. Overall good product.

Smells fantastic!

Right when you open the bottle, the smell really takes you away! I love it so much! The shampoo itself is great. It lathers really well and my hair and scalp feels very hydrated after using it. I have tried other dandruff shampoos, like Head and Shoulders, in the past but this one was way better! Gentle, moisturizing shampoo!

I received this product free to try and review. I think this shampoo was effective in what it claims to do. I have very frizzy hair and some issues with dandruff/dry scalp. This shampoo felt gentle on my scalp, but gave it a lot of moisture so I did't feel itchy and dry afterwards. I used it with the derma care scalp moisture conditioner.
