Soap bar

I love Dove however this soap bar drys out my skin, super disappointing since the smellt is amazing. Good thing I was able to find the shower gel version.

This Dove bar soap was my first & it's going to be my last. I won't buy it again after I finish the 3 bars that have. I'm basically forcing myself to finish them because I like the pomegranate & lemon scent & I don't like to waste money. The pros include it lathering well, thoroughly cleansing my body, & how it smells. Even though there's only one con, it's a major one.The con is this claim: Dove does not dry out you skin like ordinary soap.

What "ordinary soap" are they referring to? This definitely dried out my skin & I was upset by that; it's supposed to be moisturizing cream! My arms & legs look like they hadn't seen moisture in 8 years. This bar soap is good as soap & that's it.

Not a big fan of the scent of this bar. It actually gives me a headache. I find the Dove soaps drying to my skin and leave me feeling itchy after a shower.

Horrible! The smell of this soap is so overwhelming it's sickening. I really like other fragrances of different Dove soaps, but this one is a huge mess. In the shower it's even stronger.
