Amazing Concept!

I received this product free from Butterly and Unilever in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love this concept! The deodorant is very user friendly and does not take long to install. I loved that you are not left with much to discard and the case is reusable. The deodorant case itself is very appealing and nice looking! Great product!

Sleek Packaging, learning curve to use!

I only use deodorant (not antiperspirant) so this was great, the packing is a plus and I love the reduced plastic. It’s a little weird to learn not to be so aggressive when applying so as not to knock the stick off.

Dove Men+Care Refillable Deodorant Starter Kit

This product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review. The deodorant smells nice and does not stain clothes. I like that it is refillable, which is better for the environment.

Smells amazing. Always fresh.

The product smells amazing. Keeps me feel fresh all day. And its super cute and easy to cary. The size is just right to fit in every pouch. I love it. It is also cruelty free. I like that its refilable means less waste going out, helping environment to lessen the waste.

Great Quality, Poor Value

The Dove Men+Care Fresh Feel Deodorant Stick Refill Kit contains a stainless steel case, and the fresh feel scent deodorant. My dad liked the smell and size of it. The scent is very fresh smelling, not too strong either. It’s in a very portable size, perfect for on-the-go.

The distinguishing factor between these deodorants and others is the environmental impact. These products come in packing made of 98% recycled plastic. The case itself is reusable, and the refills are available for purchase. These are also both aluminium-free and cruelty-free!

The only downside (I’ll admit it’s a huge downside) is the cost. The starter kit itself comes in at a whopping $19.97 at Walmart, and the refill kit (2 sticks) is $11.97. Also to note: each stick is only 32g, whereas the cheaper, regular stick is 74g! This is just not feasible for the average consumer. That said, if you have the extra money to spend, or can find a really good deal on these, definitely go for it!

Great Concept but didn't work for husband

Thank you Chickadvisor and Butterly for choosing me to review the new Dove + Schmidts Deodorant duo #gotitfree.

1st I would say is that this is a great concept, love the stainless steel case with the idea that you just buy it once and then you buy refills after that, it cuts down on plastic containers going in the garbage which is a plus.

The scent of the deodorant is very nice, you can definitely smell the cucumber - the actual deodorant part is a gel like consistency so not powder. For the men's deodorant, my husband wasn't a fan and wouldn't purchase this. For him he wasn't a huge fan of the smell and especially the consistency being a gel like formula, the deodorant is very "sticky" feeling which he absolutely hates - it's a deal breaker for him when choosing deodorants. The most important thing in a deodorant is how well it worked, for him he didn't like smelling as he sweats a lot and after a long while he was definitely smelling ripe lol - natural deodorants just don't work for him and this was one of them

Overall I gave it 3 stars because of the idea and design around it but in terms of working for him it didn't at all unfortunately.

Great innovative idea.

I was really pleased to be selected to try this new refillable deodorant by Dove . The concept is great to help reduce excess packaging and in turn the enviroment. The deodorant was lightly scented, glides on smoothly and keeps underarm odor away. My husband tried it and liked it but he prefers an antiperspirant for sweat control. He said the claim of 48 hour odor protection was a stretch and he said it wore off after a day. The only concern is that the concept does not take off or last and finding refills will become difficult in the future.

Nice

My partner and I were so thrilled to try these out. I really found this eco friendly idea nice and sustainable. The product it self is the same as any other dove product but now they made them using reusable material. Although, this is an amazing idea using one of my favorite deodorant, I found that the price for a new refill is quite high.

Good Product

This deodarant was easy to use and had a nice smell which was not overpowering. It helped with odor control and did not irrate the skin at all. This was easy to assemble and I really like that idea that it is refillable so there is less waste.

Beautiful packaging

my husband tried the men deodorant and he really liked it because it smells really good and he absolutely love the packaging and it's long lasting too because he loves to work out and this deodorant made a permanent place in his gym bag.
