Great refillable deodorant

This product has a nice scent that seems to be long lasting. The refillable cartridge is a great idea to help reduce plastic waste. Travel friendly size is nice too.

Stylish but some design flaws

I like the idea of helping the planet with a refillable deodorant but at what cost to the consumer? I received the @DoveMenCare refillable deodorant in scent Fresh Feel from @chickadvisor. The starter pack comes with the stainless steel case and 32g of deodorant which is less than half the amount you would get from a regular mens deodorant bar. This is the major downside I see as this would result in buying refills more frequently. However, the size is better for travelling or keeping in your purse as it is also stylish. Also the exposed bar makes it harder to apply without getting on your clothes and it is less sanitary. I think that if you are not a diehard dove fan, this product would not make sense to purchase. If you are though, this stainless steel case comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The one upside to the packaging is the plastic pack that keeps the refill fresh is 98% recycled plastic. My boyfriend did like the fresh soap smell of this deodorant. My boyfriend would like this product better if they offered an antiperspirant option as well as this deodorant didn’t leave him smelling fresh through the day let along 48 hour. I wonder how difficult it would be to find the refill packs and whether they are more expensive then buying similar plastic free products on the market. #gotitfree #productreviewclub

Great product

What a cool product and great for plastic reduction. The packaging is so nice and the cucumber smell is also really fresh. he refills have been lasting me about six weeks or so each. It’s probably a little more expensive that regular deodorant honestly. I’m hoping the cost goes down over time, because I REALLY like the container and the concept SO SO much.

Smells good

I tried this deodorant for a week and I found out that it was a good one. I used it all day long and I don't smell bad even if I am sweating. My only concern is the packaging, the stick is very soft that broke easily.

Sleek Packaging, learning curve to use!

I only use deodorant (not antiperspirant) so this was great, the packing is a plus and I love the reduced plastic. It’s a little weird to learn not to be so aggressive when applying so as not to knock the stick off.

Dove Men+Care Refillable Deodorant Starter Kit

This product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review. The deodorant smells nice and does not stain clothes. I like that it is refillable, which is better for the environment.

Great innovative idea.

I was really pleased to be selected to try this new refillable deodorant by Dove . The concept is great to help reduce excess packaging and in turn the enviroment. The deodorant was lightly scented, glides on smoothly and keeps underarm odor away. My husband tried it and liked it but he prefers an antiperspirant for sweat control. He said the claim of 48 hour odor protection was a stretch and he said it wore off after a day. The only concern is that the concept does not take off or last and finding refills will become difficult in the future.

Good Product

This deodarant was easy to use and had a nice smell which was not overpowering. It helped with odor control and did not irrate the skin at all. This was easy to assemble and I really like that idea that it is refillable so there is less waste.

I gave the product to my brother. This rating is based on his review. He said it likes how it’s compact and refillable. Not sure if it’s cost effective he said. Overall he said he might buy it in the future.
I personally like the idea of refillable kit. It is to avoid plastic waste.

Sleek and smells great

My dad enjoyed trying this Dove Men+Care Refillable Deodorant Kit. He likes that the deodorant case is refillable and made with durable stainless steel, so it’s reusable and better for the environment. He thought the scent was excellent and was long-lasting. His only complaint was the size is very small which makes manoeuvring the case with your hand a bit difficult. Overall a nice deodorant tho.
