Good for shampoo, but not conditioning

I got this for my husband, who has very nice soft curls. It’s got a sexy scent which lasts for what seems like days, but it does not work as a conditioner as it states. However this is not uncommon for 2in1 and especially for 3in1. The price of the product is reasonable considering a very little goes a long way. I will be buying this product for him in the future as he’s fallen in love with the scent (as have I). Never disappointed with any Dove products.

Didn't like this!

I was skeptical about this DOVE MEN+CARE SPORTCARE ACTIVE+FRESH 2-IN-1 SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER as I have used many 2-IN-1 shampoos and conditioners in the past and never cared for them. I was really hoping that this one would be better, but unfortunately for me, it wasnt. It didnt feel at all like it had any conditioner of any kind and I could barely get a brush through my hair. I would definitely have to use a seperate conditioner when using this product. This would work good for someone with not a lot of hair, but for me it worked horribly. It does smell nice though, so I guess that's something.

Made my hair greasy

Unfortunalty i felt it made my hair looks greasy. I have dandruff and it did the job of keeping my scalp moisturized so I don’t get dry skin but it over moisturized so my hair got greasy. I tried using less. Rinsing our more but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Is not very effective,

I wanted to like this one as I have liked previous dove men's hair care products but this one did nothing for my hair. The scent also wasn't the most appealing nor was it very strong. It left my hair looking flat. The product design is appealing though.

Was okay.

Was excited to use this 2in1 shampoo and conditioner cause I have never found one that I liked, unfortunately it looks like my search is still on as I didn’t like it much. I just feel the shampoo to conditioner ratio is off as it’s a personal likeness.

Did not like

This shampoo smelt so fresh and delicious when we first smelled it in the bottle. But as my husband used this item he did not enjoy that it smelt like mint and has a tingly feeling when put on the scalp. He stopped using this shampoo after a week because it made his scalp super irritated

not outstanding

Product was great at the beginning but after a week of or two of use my hair started to become dry, greasy. Other dove products had zero issues with.

Scent was great. Hardly noticeable.

Just ok

My spouse used this product for almost 20 days n day by day the hairs were getting dry n overdry. May be this shampoo is good for those who have oily hairs.

However, I'm not sure what ingredient is in it but he developed a rash :(
His hair felt silky after but not sure it was worth the rash.

Good for a quick rinse, but not deep cleaning.

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. My husband was the one who used the product.

This product would be ideal for after a workout when you don't have time to both shampoo and conditioner your hair. Otherwise, this 2 in 1 doesn't do either very effectively. My husband wears pomade as a hair product and this product didn't remove it all even with vigorous scrubbing. His hair also didn't feel very conditioned. The shampoo did not lather very well either.

I think there is value in this product for convenience, but probably should not replace a regular deep shampoo and condition. Would recommend for gym-goers.
