Dove® Nutritive Solutions Beautiful Care Shampoo + Conditioner has a very pleasant scent. Although I am not normally a fan of 2 in 1 products - this Dove works great for when you are out in the boat or camping and space is at a premium. I found it left my hair clean and soft and not dried out at all.

I have very long hair, almost to my waist and I am very picky with what I use in my hair but sometimes I do branch off and try different things and Dove is so affordable and almost always on sale so that is a positive.
I really like the idea of Shampoo+Conditioner, it will save you time and money but I do not get any benefits from the "conditioner" in this at all. My hair does feel clean afterwards but it is very knotty and so dry that it is almost hay-like. For a shampoo, this stuff works well but I do feel I need to wash my hair more often when using this product vs. a higher end shampoo I normally use. I just would recommend using a different conditioner because you get no conditioning benefits from this product at all.
The scent is great though, very clean, fresh and does linger in your hair for most of the day.

On its own, I like a variety of Dove shampoos and separate conditioners, so it was disappointing to not have good results from Dove's Nutritive Solutions Beautiful Care Shampoo and Conditioner.

Opening up the bottle, the texture was a bit thick, and after wetting my hair and rubbing only a small amount in, I found it tough to fully wash out of my naturally curly hair without several rinses. I did appreciate how soft my hair felt afterwards, but I felt that I spent too much time trying to get the residue out.

Also, the fragrance is too strong! I don't mind a light scent sometimes, but I felt my eyes tearing up. Another negative was the lingering smell even after I finished in the shower and combed and styled my hair.

The only other positive for me was the size of the bottle because it would last a while in my household and only a very small amount of product would be needed for each wash.

Overall though, not a great match for my hair needs.

This shampoo was alright. I bought it when it was on sale to try it out. It didn't make my hair feel exceptionally soft or shiny. It cleaned my hair pretty good. I may buy this product again if it's on sale for a good price..

This one is difficult to review for me, as it worked fantastically for other members of my family, but not so much for me.
I love Dove products, and I love the convenience of a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. Unfortunately, my hair is very fine, colour treated (shhhh...don't tell anyone) and tends to run oily if I don't wash it every other day. Unfortunately, this product made my hair feel like straw and over-processed. I tried it for a week (3 shampoos) and it didn't get better.
As mentioned, other family members loved it, and continue to use it. So I believe it works better for those with "natural" (not chemically treated/coloured), thicker hair.

I have never really had success with 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners which is so disappointing because I love the concept and the time-saving of a 2 in 1. My husband purchased this product for himself and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, as expected, it did not work for me. I have fine hair which is colour-treated, an oily scalp and dry ends. I found that this Dove 2 in 1 left my hair weighed down and by the end of the day, it was greasy. It looked and smelled unwashed. I try not to wash my hair everyday because I try to preserve the colour. This would not be possible with continued use of this product. While it did not work for me, it works great for my husband.

I used this at my friend's place when I stayed over. It wasn't bad....I mean, I wouldn't go out and buy it myself, I still prefer a shampoo, and then a conditioner, but the result was better then I had anticipated. So I guess if you wanted to save time, or are a guy, and your hair was normal and wasn't dry or coloured or super long and it doesn't need much upkeep....this would work for you.

However, if you have long hair, dry hair, brittle hair, special hair that is hard to comb out, super long hair, I would recommended picking a shampoo, and then a conditioner.....and not try to do a 2-in-1.

Dove makes pretty decent products, but I find ALL of their hair care products just don't do much for my thick, curly, frizzy hair. This in particular doesn't condition quite enough. Dove also tests on animals.. So I no longer purchase from them.
