I #gotitfree from ChickAdvisor and had the opportunity to try the product out last night. I'll say at the outset that the product is very effective. I'm used to shampooing my hair multiple times until I can feel that it is squeaky clean (I usually use the Kiehl's Olive Oil shampoo), however, with the Dove Nutritive Solutions I only had to use it once, and didn't use a whole lot of product either. The shampoo lathers up very easily. As for the smell, it is great smelling, but fairly mild, which is probably a big plus for some people.

I was sceptic about this shampoo because i have oily hair and can't use hydrating shampoo because it nakes my hair even more yuck ! But not this one ! I love it . It hydrates , cleans and smells so good !

I was happy to receive this product for free as part of the Product Review club. I used it for a full week and I will be buying this again! It smelled great lathered great and it did leave my hair feeling nicr and soft. I have a very dry scalp ans alot of shampoo leaves my scalp red but this didn't bother it. I would highly recommend this to anybody!

I tell you, this is quality plus classy smell meets value. One can never go wrong with this welcoming coconut smell. Right from popping the bottle open till when I used it, it made me feel pampered. First things first, I have very dry hard hair and because of this, my hair is generally unattractive especially after shampooing. But this revived my hair! I was like 'what a turnaround'. This product really hydrates and gives a good feel to the hair. Result: It gave me a dream soft hair. I love it. The bottle is beautiful too

Dove Coconut Hydration Shampoo was well received by this reviewer, got this as part of a super sweet deal #gotitfree. Firstly the packaging, like all other Dove Nutritive Solution products this one as well has an upscale feel to the bottle. Next your are hit by the scent, wowzers, a subtle hint of coconut and lime that will not conflict with whatever fragrance you may want to wear on your skin later on. Now hit the shower, I have super thick, curly hair, lets just say it is not easily penetrable by one handful of shampoo. This time however it was different, one decent dollop of this rich shampoo and I had quite the lather on my head. It rinsed out easily and I could already fee a sense of hydration through my hair. I followed it up with the matching conditioner (review can be found here) and made my way out of the shower. Nothing but towel dried my hair and the results were awesome. To the touch my hair felt restored, refreshed and squeaky clean. This is my new "go to" hydration favorite, thank you ChickAdvisor! xoxo

I was happy to receive this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. So here's the thing: I actually really liked the shampoo, but I will probably never buy it again. Here's why: It smelled great, lathered well, and overall felt (I mean physically, in my hands and hair) like a really quality shampoo. But it claims to leave your hair feeling "soft, smooth, and beautiful", and I disagree. Once I rinsed it out, my hair actually felt more dry than before. You really need to use it WITH the conditioner for it to properly smooth and hydrate your hair - the shampoo on its own doesn't cut it. When I compare it to my regular brand (which is less than half the price and feels more hydrating), it just doesn't cut it. Ultimately, the price just doesn't equal the quality in my books.

Wonderful! I received this as a product review and purposely didn't wash my hair for a few days to see how it would work... I know, kinda gross, but it was great! Super shampoo with a great smell. My hair and scalp felt very clean afterwards. No redisude buildup. Loved it!

Great shampoo to begin, lathered up nicely with just a little bit of shampoo on the hand mixed with the shower water. I found Dove shampoos in general lather up very nicely.

My hair felt really clean, and full of volume actually, hair wasn't stuck to my scalp after washing or static hair.

I liked the scent of coconut within the shower (and a little after lasting on my hair!!)

I liked that my hair felt hydrated and soft and full of volume and bounce. There was no weighing hair down.

Good price (as always!) for Dove, combined with a coupon you can definitely be on a budget .


Now as for the conditioner,
I liked the conditioner it also didn't weight hair down and best of all I noticed hair easier to comb through.
A little heavier than other conditioners I used previously, BUT it didn't weight hair down so I don't mind.
I also liked the scent subtle yet present.
And once again good price for dove.

Reminds me of coconuts on all inclusive vacations :)

Dove never disappoints when they come out with new products and the Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration Shampoo is no different. It left my hair feeling clean and healthy and has a great scent which reminds me of a tropical vacation. I definitely like the subtle coconut scent and would purchase this shampoo again once I run out of my regular Dove shampoo.

I only wash my hair twice a week so I look for a lot in a shampoo. I need something that will clean my hair of all the oils and built up dry shampoo/hairspray and I need a shampoo that won't make my hair oily after one day. This shampoo is absolute perfection. It makes my hair feel so clean, but it doesn't feel like it stripped all the oils off of my head, and that's a huge plus. It leaves my hair feeling and looking soft and shiny and doesn't weigh it down at all. It also smells really nice, not too strong but just enough.
