I really love dove products and was super happy to be picked to test this product. When I enjoy a shampoo it's because of a mix of smell and how my hair feels after use. This shampoo has a light but very nice fragrance and left my hair soft of not feeling overly clean (which is a good thing). It took a few uses to see the full effect as my hair is basically dead from straightening and dyeing it all the time. After a week of use combined with the conditioner it really helped fix some of the damaged parts of my hair and I am really happy with the results.

I really like this shampoo, it smells amazing, and it doesnt leave the hair squeaky clean. My hair feels soft and smooth after a cold rinse. I have curly-kinky hair (afro-american) so I am very particular about the products I use in my hair care regime. I always love Dove products and this time is no different. Would definitely repurchase this shampoo. I do want to mention that I received this product for free to try.

Scent:
One of the best qualities of this shampoo is its fantastic scent of coconut water and sweet lime! What a great combination! So fresh, and it smells great. I like the fact that the shampoo's scent isn't overpowering, thus making it a shampoo that my entire household can enjoy.

Ease of Use:
With short hair, I found that less than a teaspoon of shampoo is required for full coverage, and for longer hair, about a teaspoon. Dove's Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration Shampoo lathers up quickly and it's easy to work through one's hair. I didn't encounter any problems rinsing it out.

Effectiveness:
Dove's Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration Shampoo did a great job of cleaning and hydrating my hair. It left a subtle and pleasant scent of coconut water and sweet lime in my hair, and my hair felt light and squeaky-clean.

The Verdict:
I really like this shampoo, so much so that I will continue to purchase it in the future. It cleans and hydrates just as well as any other shampoo I've used, however, its scent is superior and it doesn't weigh my hair down as much as other shampoos. I've always been a big fan of dove products so I was very excited to recieve this shampoo and have the opportunity to try it out. As expected, the smell is amazing! So light and refreshing, it's a really lovely scent to wake up to when showering in the morning. I love how soft and fresh my hair felt after using it. I've already told my mom about it and she's purchased both the shampoo and conditioner- she loves it!

I was initially hesitant about this shampoo. The fragrance is incredibly strong and artificial smelling. The shampoo is a gel formula whereas I prefer a cream. However, it is hard to complain about the results of this shampoo. Within one wash, my hair felt much smoother and looked shinier. By the second wash, my hair was squeaky clean. I tested the shampoo without using a conditioner and received the same results. The only downside was that the fragrance lingered in my hair for over a day after using, which I only didn't like because I wasn't fond of the scent.

Overall, this shampoo is excellent for smooth, shiny hair and is incredibly effective without conditioner.

I really like this shampoo. I really expected it to smell like coconut, but I didn't find it did at all. It does smell so good though. The scent is sort of strong and lingers all day, which I love because I can smell it every time I move my head.

As for how well it works. It has a nice, rich lather and rinses away easily. It leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean.

I would recommend this to others and would definitely buy it in the future.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was the smell. It's very rich and vibrant. It made my hair feel very light and airy, not heavy. My hair was very wispy and clean feeling.
If you have sent sensitivities I wouldn't recommend this as its made my hair smell strongly tropical even days after washing.
