I was lucky enough to receive this product for free from ChickAdvisor to try out!
I have been using this as my regular shampoo for roughly two weeks and I wash my hair every second day.
I was super excited to see that it was a coconut product but I only pick up a light whiff of coconut. The shampoo still smells really good though, I just would have liked it to have been a little bit more 'coconutty".
I was very surprised at how well it lathered into my hair. I have very long hair and I usually need a decent amount to feel like I've thoroughly washed my hair but with this I only needed a small amount. The lather was a soft foam, even my hands felt soft after using it and washing it. Even though my hair was thoroughly covered in lather, it still rinsed out very quickly. There was no shampoo residue but I did feel like my hair was "too clean" after each use. I am not quite sure how to explain it. My hair felt drier, knotty and almost felt "squeeky" if I was to rub my hair with the palm of my hand. Luckily, the corresponding conditioner corrected that. I probably wouldn't use this shampoo without following with the conditioner afterwards.
Overall, I don't feel my hair got an extra hydration from this shampoo and like I said, without the condition my hair felt very brittle and dry after use. It smells fantastic though and it does linger in your hair for the entire day and it does a really good job at cleansing your hair.
I would probably recommend it but not to somebody with severely dry or damaged hair, I wouldn't think it would do much for them and may make it worse. I would only repurchase if it was on a really good sale and I was able to get the conditioner as well, I won't be making this my everyday shampoo though.

I just love how this makes my hair smell and feel! It's made my hair so nice i even used it on my little girls hair :) it washes out so good and didn't make the floor of the shower floor yucky

I really liked this shampoo and will be purchasing it on my own. The bottle is big at 355ml and opens from the top. The shampoo is clear and thin and has a really pleasant little scent. It lathers up well and rinses off easily. This is what really made a difference for me: I have blonde hair (from my stylist) and people commented that I got highlights put it. I didn't and the only difference was using this shampoo. It lightened my hair! I love that! My hair felt smooth, not frizzy and it felt so hydrated. At 4.99 this is a really good value and I will continue purchasing it and recommend this product.

I tried the Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration Shampoo as part of a Chick Advisor campaign, but the thoughts are all mine:

My first thought was the scent - for being a product that contained coconut for hydration, I sort of thought they would lean towards that as a scent rather than the lime one that was chosen. The lime scent was nice -- not my first choice for a shampoo but subtle and fresh. The scent would also make this a great unisex product.

I found this to almost have a slight clarifying property to it - after washing twice with the shampoo, I found my hair felt really clean without any build up to it; definitely lots of volume to my hair after using!

I did find my hair was a little tangly after using - not quite enough moisture for my dry hair!

This may be a product id use once or twice a week for a good clean, but not quite enough for my daily use with my hair type

Bon shampooing malgré qu'il ne sent pas vraiment la noix de coco, ce que j'aurais vraiment apprécié. Il mousse suffisamment les cheveux lors du deuxième shampooing et donne un bon résultat sur les cheveux long.

I received this product as part of the Product review club. I didn't think this shampoo would do anything for me but I ended up loving it, especially the smell! The scent is soft and so refreshing! Most importantly, the shampoo, used with the conditioner left my hair soft and smooth!

There was nothing that spectacular about this shampoo. First I found it smelled more of lime then coconut (a plus), second the bottle is a weird shape so when you get to the end you can't flip it upside down. The shampoo lathered well and rinsed out great and gave my hair a very 'clean' feeling but since I don't normally use conditioner regularly I found that this shampoo left my hair more brittle then the others have and I found much more breakage.

I received this shampoo for free from a ChickAdvisor campaign and I've been using it for a week.

I love the scent! It was love at first smell since the scent was noticeable once I opened the ChickAdvisor box. Note that the scent is coconut AND lime even though the name refers to coconut only (that's a reference to the benefits of the coconut oil used, I'm pretty sure).

The bottle advertises that hair will be soft and smooth (since it hydrates your hair) and it delivers! I was using a similar priced shampoo beforehand and I can tell the difference in softness especially.

What I find lacking when using this shampoo is a silky feeling when my hair is drying. When some of my natural oils come back, it's not an issue.

For the listed price, it's a great product - it does more than I would expect for the price - and I will likely buy it in the future.

J'ai eu la chance d'essayer ce produit gratuitement. Quel parfum sublime! Je l'ai utilisé avec le revitalisant de la même gamme et j'ai adoré! Le shampooing mousse bien et on a pas besoin d'en utiliser beaucoup. Il rend mes cheveux propres et doux sans les assécher.

J'ai bien aimé ce shampoing. J'adore son odeur fraîche qui parfume délicatement les cheveux. Mes cheveux sont doux et brillant même sans utilisation d'autres produits coiffants ou fers. Il lave bien les cheveux sans les assécher.
