I was selected to review a line of 5 different Dove products. The texture of this shampoo is soo soft and creamy it was amazing. It was a lot like Dove's body wash. My hair definitely lacks moisture and has a great deal of static constantly. While this shampoo lathers well and leaves your hair feeling very soft (you can run your fingers through it), I still had fly away hair and static afterwards. If this shampoo was made with volume, I think the results would be better. While I won't purchase this in the future, I would still recommend this to friends as Dove products are great. This retails for about $7.99 so I would definitely wait for a sale.

I received this product for free as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. I have thick hair and NEED conditioner. I was amazed that after rinsing the Dove shampoo off it really moisturized my hair. Usually shampoos leave my hair dry but I could have just used the shampoo on it's own from how well it worked. A definite purchase for the future. Will be telling friends and family.

A good basic shampoo. Lathers well, removes buildup, moisturizes and has a nice light scent. If you are looking for a shampoo that will leave your hair smelling strong and fruity this is not the one for you. The price is decent. Around $5 at Shoppers. There are other brands with bigger bottles in the same price range, but I like this one. I have thick and dry hair, so the moisturizer helps with frizz.

Effective and love using this shampoo so far. I use it almost everyday and with my hair being damaged quite abit from dying it or perming, I noticed the hair looks much healthier. Fragrance is amazing as well.

I received this product for free as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. I'm not usually a fan of shampoo as I usually use cleansing conditioners but Dove has won me over once again. This shampoo is very moisturizing for my curly/wavy hair type which loses moisture very easily. It doesn't feel like it's stripping your hair or scalp of natural moisture at all. It smells great and has a nice creamy texture. My hair felt very soft after rinsing it out.
I can actually compare it to my cleansing conditioner because it didn't dry out my hair.
I'm a fan of dove so I will definitely purchase this product again and would recommend it to friends/family.

This shampoo has a nice light scent to it, and I have used it in the past.

A little bit goes a long way for some great sudsy feelings while rubbing it in.

My hair feels a bit softer when I use this, and I feel it does weigh down my hair a little bit more than I like - I have thin long hair.

It's not too bad, but nothing out of the ordinary for a shampoo. For my fine hair, however, I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase it again. Perhaps another Dove Product will meet my hair needs better.

It may be better suited for someone with thicker hair.

I have always LOVED dove products so was really happy when I received this product as part of the Product Review Club. I have used dove shampoos before but never this one, I really like that its a moisture shampoo god knows my hair needs it especially in the winter time. The shampoo does what it says its going to do on the bottle. My only issue with this is that I don't love the smell of it.

I've been using Dove body wash for years and they just came out with a hair care line which was different for me! ChickAdvisor sent me their line of hair care solution so I had to try it!

I have dry, thick hair so it can get frizzy easily. I also blow dry and iron my hair every day so my hair takes a lot of abuse. I've tried a lot of salon brand shampoos as well as drugstore shampoos and none of them have given me the results I was looking for. When I first used this shampoo, it felt like it was really moisturizing. The scent was light and refreshing which I loved. Combined with the matching conditioner, my hair felt clean, light, smooth and shiny! I would recommend trying this out if you have dry thick hair!

I've always liked Dove Shampoos so, I was happy to review this product. It really is a great shampoo and I'm happy to be using it. It lathers well, smells great, it doesn't leave your hair feeling like it has a film over it and a little bit of product goes a long way. Love this product and will continue to use it.

Dove is another brand I really enjoy. Whenever my hair feel dry and I want it to feel more soft my go to is Dove. It's good for sensitive skin for days when my skin isn't cooperating as well. Overall a great product that I do repurchase regularly.
