I was disappointed in this oil because it is fairly thick so i didn't spread evenly in my hair . I also didn't like that the day after using this oil my hair looked greasy .

My hair has a natural wave and it has a lot of frizz if I don't use a hair straightener. I was excited to try the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment to see how it would help my hair.
This product smells great. It only required a little oil to get the right amount of treatment evenly distributed throughout my thick hair. After applying, I let my hair dry on its own. Once it was dry, I noticed how soft & silky my hair felt; it felt absolutely amazing. My hair still had the natural wave, and this product did a remarkable job of taming the frizz in my hair. I love it!
I have tried other oil products in my hair, but they weren't as effective as the Dove Pure Care Oil. It truly nourished my dry hair and targeted the frizz. This will definitely be a regular product for my hair care routine.

This is one of the best hair oils I've used. A little bit of product goes a long way, and you get great results: shine, moisture, and manageability. You can use it on wet or dry hair to reduce frizz and protect hair. It's unique formula is non greasy and doesn't weigh hair down. It also smells amazing! I received this product free for review.

I have always shied away from putting oil in my hair as it is fine and thin and gets oily enough on it's own after a day! After trying Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment, I am in love! Where has this been all my life!!?? My frizz is tamed and after blow drying, I barely have to use my straightening iron!! My hair looks amazing and healthy with no frizzy fly-aways! I only wash my hair every other day, and if I wake up with bed head and need to re-straighten, this oil makes my life so much easier! And it smells AMAZING!

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment With African Macadamia Oil is a non greasy nourishing treatment designed for all hair types and it leaves your hair soft, manageable and silky.
I have normally wavy, thick hair and everytime I use a few drops of this product, it makes my hair feel so soft and healthy. It gives it a nice shine as well. Works great with hair styling products and a nice pleasant smell.

I received this product free of charge as part of the review campaign. This dry oil really did nourish my hair, especially to help tame the flyaways, dryness and static charge occurring during winter. I use it after I shower, just rub some in my palms and onto the tips of my hair. Be careful not to use too much product and not close to your scalp, it can really weigh your hair down.

I am TOTALLY in love with this product. Usually no matter what oil I put in my hair and how little I put in, it always seems to make my hair greasy. This has helped my hair a lot and it doesn't break as much as it used to. I have gotten all of my friends to buy this product because it is worth it!

I was fortunate enough to be selected by Chick Advisor to participate in a review of this product, and received a full size product for free to trial. I received 5 different products to trial from this line, and by far this product was my favorite! My hair is naturally wavy, and I either have to curl it or straighten it to make it look good. I would add a few pumps of oil to my towel dried hair before I blow dried it, and then another pump or two after ward to manage my flyaways. It didn't leave my hair feeling greasy or heavy like other oil based hair products I have used in the past. It made my hair feel soft and look really shiny and healthy. I would definitely use this again when the price point is right.

I think that this is a pretty good hair oil and I do like what it did for my hair. I wasn't a huge fan of the feel of it on my fingers for some reason, and I do find the scent to be a little bit overwhelming, but I think it works very well and really soaked into my hair to give me some shine and a lot of softness. As affordable hair oils go, I definitely think this one is worth looking into, especially for dry, damaged hair like mine. I can't speak to coarser hair textures than my fine, straight hair, but on me this definitely did do a really good job.

I don't normally use product in my hair so I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this product. It definitely made my hair feel and look better. While I might not purchase this again I will definitely recommend it to a friend.
