Can I just start by saying how delicious this smells? I wasn't sure about using oil in my hair but this is amazing. As a curly haired lassie I need all the help I can get to fight frizz and this does it. My hair was so soft and shiny. It really helped to keep the dry air frizzies away. This will be a staple for me.

This hair oil can be used prior to shampooing, or after on damp hair. I tried it both ways (multiple times) and I'm a convert!

For reference, I have very long hair with bleached highlights. Typically, I try to avoid washing my hair every day to minimize damage and dryness, but sometimes bedhead prevents me from waiting. I've found that using 4-6 pumps of this (from chin-length down) before shampooing seems to keep the washing from stressing my hair. I've even noticed that when I do this step first, I seem to lose less hair in the shower, possibly because it is minimizing breakage or preventing tangles. In any case, my hair looks great after it is styled and seems less dry on the ends but without any greasiness.

I also have used it on wet hair after I get out of the shower. It smells wonderful, which is a bonus! I use a little less (4 pumps, instead of 4-6) since I won't be rinsing it out. Again, very important to only use this from ear to chin length down so you don't get greasy roots. I use it on sopping wet hair before combing through, towel drying and using other styling products. I've noticed my the ends of my hair don't seem as brittle and prone to frizz when I use this.

If you have dry, damaged and/or colour-treated hair, I highly recommend this product. I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Review Club in exchange for my honest review. Would I purchase this? Absolutely - it smells great and works wonders for my hair. I thought the price point was a little high, but I've used Matrix Oil Wonders in the past with similar results and that is considerably more expensive. You won't need a lot of this product per use so it should last you as while as well. I will definitely be getting more.

I have used Dove products for many years and I was thrilled to get to try this Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil, as I have dry, wavy and often frizzy hair. Especially in the winter months, my hair needs extra moisture and nourishment and this is exactly what this treatment did. I love the fact that I only needed a little bit to go a long way. After a few days of using it I found my hair to be softer, shinier and definitely less frizzy. I love that it wasn't greasy and heavy on my hair, and the scent is definitely pleasant. I'm impressed that you get quite a large bottle at a very reasonable price!

When I hear the oil when its for hair, I stay away. I don't like having oily hair :( Well this product doesn't do that at all! Thanks Dove for helping me over come my fear of hair oil :P It smells amazing and was super light weight. My only complaint is that im not sure what it was supposed to do and didn't notice much of a difference. I would continue to use it however it would be for the scent

I love how my hair just soaked up this product, it wasn't greasy, it softens and adds shine for silky, smooth hair. I have course, naturally curly hair and this product breathed life back into my dull hair,another amazing example from this product line. The scent is amazing and it was so it to use. I loved this!!! wish i had heard of it sooner. I usually use an Argan oil which doesn't have a strong smell. I love the smell of this, and it doesn't leave an oily residue on my fingers after which is a bonus!!! Such a great price for a salon quality product. Way to go dove!

Was really excited to try this Dove Nourishing Hair Treatment Oil thanks to ChickAdvisor! I love hair oils. I have a large collection of them and always throw some in my hair after a shower or when its getting dry and staticy, Love this option from Dove. Macadamia oil smells amazing and this didnt disappoint. The scent was great and it lasted which was nice. It made my hair smooth and shiny, One bottle will also go a long way because you only need a few drops. Would definitely recommend for anyone with long hair that might be prone to dryness or damage. Bottle is also very fancy, feels like a luxury product at a drug store price.

First all the amazing small and it lasts. Being someone that has fine hair, the winter is brutal on it. Love to out this in after washing to keep my hair from going dry and frizzy. Noticed a great improvement with it.

I have questionable hair. Long hair too! This was something I really wasn't sure of though! I thought putting oils in my hair would be a bad idea. However what I do now is absolutely WONDERFUL! I coat my hair lightly in the oils as a mask before I go into the shower. I then wash up and do my hair last, so it has time to sink into my hair. Then I condition and shampoo my hair as usual. PERFECT!!
