I love this nourishing oil. I have very coarse, wavy hair. So I put it on my ends before I get in the shower and after again. Helps nourish my hair and then keeps it soft, and holds my curls and keeps my hair frizz free. Love this product. My only complaint is the smell. Bit strong. Not very feminine.

LOVE this product. The Dove dry oil adds moisture to my hair without leaving it greasy. I have dry, thick, curly (frizzy) hair. When I use an oil product, I often have to use a large amount to get any effect, but soon after use my hair just looks dirty and greasy. But not with this oil. I use the recommended 3-4 pumps on wet or dry hair and it's enough product to work through all my hair. It leaves it looking fresh and healthy, not weighed down and greasy.

I recieved this product to review from Chickadvisor. I was a little worried that this would make my hair look greasy and flat as I've never tried hair oils before but it didn't do that at all! My hair is thin but long and there's lots of it so I used about 4 pumps on towel dried hair. The oil absorbed into my hair quickly and left it looking shiny, soft and healthy. The glass bottle is nice but I'm scared I'm going to knock it over and break it, I was also surprised to find it didn't have a cap....unless mine was missing it~

I could do without the scent though, it's a bit strong.

A bottle of this will definitely last me a long time, I've been using it a few times a week and haven't even put a dent in it.

I received this product through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club! I love using hair oil - my hair is frizzy, curly, thick - all that fun stuff, so oil is essential in my daily hair regime! I used the oil many ways, I put it in right after my shower, and let it dry naturally, and I found a huge difference, my hair was smooth, soft and very easy to style - i chose a bun for this experiment - and I had a smooth, sleek bun, no flyaways! This oil is also perfect to use for touch ups - but only use half a pump if your hair is up, I used a full pump and my hair looked very oily! My next experiment was to use this as heat styling oil - after applying it on dry hair, I used my straightener and the result was beautiful! I had smooth, shiny soft hair, and the smell was lovely (not too strong; just perfect!) and I am certain that the oil helped my hair stay smooth and shiny even though it was rainy and humid outside - 5/5 on that! My last experiment was to use it as an overnight treatment, I applied the oil on wet hair, put on a shower cap and let it set - when I woke up in the morning - after rinsing - my hair seemed healthier, and it was more manageable, soft and sleek! I absolutely love that this oil can have multiple uses, the smell isn't overbearing and just nourishes your hair! It is up there with a salon product/treatment (at a fraction of the price!)

This oil was just okay for me. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't horrible either. It just did what it claims to. I dont usually use a hair oil though, so maybe i'm just not too familiar with them. but would i purchase this again? probably, if i felt my hair was dry or is in need of it. Would I recommend this to a friend? sure why not? It's a well known brand which gives you a sorta of brand security and trust. so happy Chick Advosor sent me this product too review. I LOVE hair oils and dont know what I would do without them. If I didnt use them my hair would be a helmet on my head(and believe me it was for a very long time)
It smells amazing and absorbes into the hair fairly quickly. It can be used on dry or wet hair (putting some on your hair when youre right out of the shower makes it easier to brush your hair.Way less knots) just make sure you dont put it directly on the top of your head, stick to the bottom 3/4s or you will look like an oil slick.
my favourite use for it is when I straighten my hair I put 3-4 pumps of the product through my hair and it stays moisturized and polished. I also use it before I go to bed and leave it in over night,
I use this all the time (i like to moisturize my hands with it as well well Im in a pinch)

I really like this oil. I've used it on both wet and dry hair. I find that it is most effective to use on damp hair. I have long fine hair but a lot of it. It can be easily weighed down and I find that products can easily make it greasy. I just need to use two pumps on my lengths and ends of my hair and this helps keep them smooth and baby soft.

I received this product as part of the Review Club. I am a fan of dry oil for my body, especially after a beach vacation/end of summer, but I had not tried it on my hair before. Because I have a chin length bob, I found that I did not need more than 1 pump. More than 1 pump made it feel greasy immediately when I was blow drying it, and second day hair looked worse. I really like how it left my hair shiny and smooth, and made the ends lay flat and sleek. I think for the price, it is well worth it as it will last a long time; I can't see using it daily, maybe only monthly or when needed.

I love this. I was using Biosilk, this beats that. Not highly scented which is fine by me. The softness that this brings to my long dry coarse chemically treated hair is amazing. I love adding a drop or two on second or even third day hair and brushing it through. Makes my hair look freshly washed. So soft and silky. I have honestly wondered what this would be like as an overnight hair mask if you used quite a bit. I just might try it.
