I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I am in love with Dove Pure Care Dry Oil for Hair! There is something about oils that really appeal to me! The bottle is so pretty (& made of glass). It is easy to dispense. The scent makes me feel happy. It is non-greasy and simple to apply. It makes my hair feel soft , smooth and silky. I enjoy that it has multi uses (on damp hair after a shampoo, on dry hair before a shampoo, and as a pre-styling protector). Dove has really put the 'treat' into treatment! It truly is a precious treat, an extra step perhaps, but well worth the effort. Thank you!

I received this as part of the Dove review box, and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, and try it in conjunction with the shampoo/conditioner.... mistake!
I used to use Moroccan Oil & Argan oil regularly, so i am no stranger to hair oils... but this one caused the ends of my hair to almost clump together. I used less than recommended, and have thick curly hair - and this did nothing positive.
The smell however, is intoxicating!! I love it!, sadly, the scent alone is not enough.

My hair is naturally really dry, so I usually have trouble combing it out after I take a shower and end up with a lot of breakage, so a hair oil is already a part of my hair-washing routine. Not sure if it was just the oil, or the combined usage with the shampoo and conditioner but combing my hair was a breeze and I ended up with minimal breakage/hair loss.

The bottle suggested using 3-4 pumps and as soon as i put the 4 pumps through my hair (I have long, thick hair), I was a little bit weary because it felt like it might have been too much. When it dried, it felt great and I could no longer tell I had put 4 pumps of it. I think you'd definitely have to adjust this depending on the length/thickness of your hair but the recommended amount was good for me.

Smells great, and did wonders for my hair as well; I applied it before I blow dried and straightened my hair. I straighten my hair often so it's definitely important for me to have a protectant to help lock in moisture.  This PURE CARE OIL for hair did just that.  My hair feels shinier and has more life to it. I received this product for free from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I love this dry oil. It smells really good and it does not feel too oily! It also made my hands feel smooth. I used this product after using the Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. I applied a bit of the product at the bottom half of my hair as indicated on the box, then I blew dry it with a blow dryer.It left my hair feeling soft and smooth! I would definitely purchase this product in the future and I would recommend it to anyone who wants their hair feeling soft and nourished.

Works Well on my hair, I have see a good difference on the before and after use, And the price for that king of product is really well. So I recommend it for people who have hair need to be treat more than just conditionner ....

I received the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. As my hair is fine and fairly thin, I was a bit apprehensive about using an oil product in it, as I thought it may be too heavy or make my hair coated. The first time I used it on damp, freshly washed hair, I used about 3 drops and massaged it through the lengths and ends, avoiding my roots. When it was dry, it was obvious that I'd used to much, as my hair felt and looked dull. Time to try again! The next day, after again washing my hair, I used 2 small drops (carefully pressing the pump on the bottle with precision, lol). This time it was the perfect amount - as soon as my hair was dry, it felt soft, looked silky, and was not at all dull or lackluster. This product has a pleasant mild scent and is lightweight. I'm certain that any hair type could benefit from it, you just need to tailor the amount you use to suit your hair! Thank goodness for a frizz fighter that makes my hair look shiny!

I received this through the product review club and I LOVE it! I have thick hair and lots of flyaways. This oil is very light weight and so easy to apply. It made my hair feel so soft and shiny. Better than any other product I've tried. It also has a great scent. which never hurts.

Got free from chickadvisor and dove. Sooo needed this this winter. My hair gets so dry and brittle. I used this right after I shampoo and conditioned which works best. My hair is soft and looks alive again lol. Also used on my 6 yr old sons hair as his is so dry and has dandruff bad. It actually nourished it and made some of it go away so we will continue to use this product.

I don't see any difference on my hair between when i apply this oil and when i don't. It's just not worth it in my case. I wouldn't spend money on this oil when there's no change. I'm a bit disappointed.
