I had the pleasure of testing Dove Pure Care Dry Oil With African Macadamia Oil for free as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. In the past, I had not had instant success with dry oils, as it took me many attempts to find the right amount of product to apply to my hair, without making it look greasy and dull. That being said, I was a tad bit anxious to see if the directions on the beautifully sophisticated Dove bottle were spot on. After using Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, I applied 3 pumps of oil to my palm, worked it a bit, then ran it through my damp hair, mid-length to ends. To my surprise, the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil did what it claimed! 3-4 pumps of their strong but lovely scented oil was more then enough, and after air drying my locks, my hair was not greasy, but soft, shiny, and overall, it just looked so much more healthy! Upon reading the beautifully crafted box, I was surprised to learn I could use the Dry Oil as a pre-shampoo nourishing treatment, as well as a pre-styling product. In all, I would definitely recommend this Dove Pure Care Dry Oil to those looking to nourish, soften, and give new life and shine to their hair. After a few more attempts and washes, I have no doubt I will be recommending this to my gals! Time to give life to our dried out, dull Canadian locks!

This was my first time ever trying an Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment. I was very impressed with this product. I applied the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil to my damp hair from mid length to tips. It was very easy to appy to hair and was very beneficial to my dry hair. My hair was left feeling so extremely healthy and smooth. I can't wait to use this product in my every day beauty routine. My hair has never felt so smooth and healthy. I am a new big fan of Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil. Already telling all my friends about this awesome treatment.

Growing out my hair so I knew an oil was needed .. I have used MANY oils but this one so far is the best .. It really keeps my ends looking great .. and healthy .. It doesnt weight down my hair but really calms down any frizz or damage and makes it look soo shiney and healthy .. Its going to be so easy to grow out my hair without having to trim it as often thanks to this awesome oil !!!

I was very lucky to be chosen to test and review this product! I love nourishing oils and have been using them for a while, but had not had the opportunity to try this specific brand. I really enjoy using Dove products and find them to be pretty good for my hair which is often dry due to frequent colouring. I already had the Dove Dry oil shampoo and conditioner that I had been using, so getting to try this treatment with its coinciding products was great as i was able to experience its full benefits as a system. A little of the oil goes a long way and I was surprised at how little my hair actually needed. I could feel the oil working through each and every strand so i know right away that it has an amazing value as it is going to last me for quite some time, which is always a huge bonus! My hair was left shiny, soft and manageable with no oily look or feel after styling. I noticed it helped to tame my winter fly aways and gave my hair an overall smoother texture. I really liked the scent and feel, and would highly recommend this product.

I used it once so far and I cannot wait to use it again. It has a awesome light scent. Left my hair shiny without looking greasy. My usual brand I used in the past cannot compare to this lovely product. I would definitely buy this again. I would highly reccommend this product to anyone who uses any type of oil product. Left my hair silky smooth.

In the winter, my hair gets really dry, especially the ends. This treatment is a great serum for putting moisture back into my hair, particularly the ends!

I was sceptical at first but I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Most products tend to make my hair greasy looking but dove dry oil really did what i needed it to do.

The bottle is beautiful and makes this product look fancy. The scent is extremely strong, I don't dislike it but if I use too much it starts to give me a headache. I do love how it makes my hair feel. My ends are quite dry (I need a haircut!) but this product makes them feel much softer and gives me quite the shine. I think I would use this product sparingly simply because the scent is so strong. I've used other oils and tend to prefer when the scent is a bit more organic. Nevertheless I think this is a great product especially for the price and I would recommend it to those who are looking for a good hair oil.

ChickAdvisor provided me with the opportunity to try this awesome new product. I have used many different types of Argan and Monoi oil in my hair before, but this is my first time trying Dove's. So far my favourite type of hair oil has been Dessange's Argan Oil which retails for $12.99. This product is slightly cheaper than that but works even better. It only takes a few drops, so you won't be breaking the bank on this one. A few drops at the ends of your hair and throughout, minus the roots, will leave your hair free of tangles and feeling silky smooth. Running a brush through my long hair after adding the oil was a breeze, not a single knot remained. I often curl by hair and add hairspray and this product really helped to repair the damage. The product also comes in a beautiful glass bottle.

A bit of a strong scent, but I really like it. Perhaps not for you if you are sensitive to scents. It made my hair very smooth and there were no fly-always.
