I received this product to review from Chick Advisor and had huge expectations for this product, but it didn't work for me. I tried more than 3 times following the instructions; however, my hair just got more oily. The only thing I really liked was the fragrance.
Not good at all for my long curly hair i wash my hair every second day because it gets oily so i try the dry shampoo and my hair just got more oily i try few time but i always ends in the shower because i did not like the way my hair look
Dove Refresh & Care Dry Shampoo doesn't live up to what I was expecting. I think my standards were too high...I was hoping for a wonder fix for in between washes. but I felt that it made my hair worse. It really didn't help & not the easiest to use. I was a great thought, however I don't believe I will be buying this anytime soon.
I received this product free for review from ChickAdvisor
Thanks to Chick Advisor for selecting me to try Dove Hair care products! Well, I have always wanted to try a dry shampoo.......
I was surprised at the strong blast of shampoo powder from the can. It's crazy strong and sends your hair into a whirlwind. I immediately liked the scent of the product, but that was about all I liked. My hair instantly looked like I had sprayed grey color into it. This was very hard to get rid of. Maybe because my hair is dry and rather coarse? At any rate, I was not pleased with the look. Also, my comb and brush were coated with the white shampoo powder. Yuck. I also did not like that it made my hair very hard to manage. I couldn't get my fingers through my hair and it felt hard and way less than soft. I think I'll pass on this product. While it may be good for many, it's just not a great match for my hair.
Thank you Chick Advisor and Dove for this opportunity to try this product for FREE! My hairs are mid long and they are dyed in brown with an ombre at the end (which needs to be moisturized).
Unfortunately, I do not like this product at all! Usually, I use Batist or Klorane and they are way better. This Dove dry shampoo leaves a white and silicon film on the hair. All day my hair fells weird and dry! After day, they are difficult to fix. The only way I found was a pony tail so the people do not see the texture of my hair. Sorry, but I do not recommend this product.
As much as I love Dove products, I was not a fan of this product. I found it left a white residue on my hair (kind of like a powder), and my hair felt very greasy. One of my co workers even said my hair looked dull.
This product did not work for me, now that could just be my hair type. I have very fine hair (although a lot of it!). It didn't matter how little I used, or how far I sprayed away from my roots, it made my hair white. And just like a few other products from this line, it is also too heavily scented. I will not repurchase this. I think you'd be better to spend a little extra on a better brand.
I wanted to like this dry shampoo, but it just doesn't do anything for me. I don't find it gives me volume or makes my hair look clean. In fact, it just makes my hair kind of flat and greasy. Just buy Batiste -- it does exactly what it should do!
I received this product for free from Chick Advisor for my honest review. I was very excited to try a dry shampoo because I have had frequent hospital stays where it's hard to wash my hair when I am really sick, and same when I am at home. So I waited 2 days and didn't wash my hair, I have light brown hair. I followed the directions 100%, and found this product did not work at all!!! It smelt very nice but that is actually made my hair look dirtier! I thought I may have done it wrong, so I tried it a total of 3 times and got the same results! I will not be buying this product and I would not recommend this product!
