The Good:

- provides a very fine powdered spray
- does not cause build up like others (no white powdery while film or residue at the root)
- absorbs oil well leaving hair looking fresh
- leaves hair soft and manageable

The So-So:

While most customers will appreciate the soft managability of this product, I wish it was slightly tackier to provide more volume to my roots.

Bottom Line:

At an average price point of $9.99, this dry shampoo is a good value for anyone wanting to extend their hairstyle. The canister is bigger than most dry shampoos on the market so you get more bang for your buck. I recommend buying a can to throw in your gym bag for a quick post-gym refresh.

I have dark brown hair, and this leaves just a tint of white powder showing afterwards, so be sure to blend it in, as blending makes it absorb better.
It does do a great job of absorbing the extra oils in your hair. It makes your day old hair look clean and adds some texture to your hair as well. It is scented, and I found the scent to be a bit over powering at times. Just be sure to spray it in a well vented area!

I liked having this product to use between shampoos, as it revitalizes my scalp, leaving it tingly fresh. It is a great product to use when pressed for time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I use dry shampoo all the time and have tried everything from high end to inexpensive drugstore products. This is one of the top performers. I would rank it among some of my $20 + dry shampoos. I have dark hair and didn't find that this left at white cast,. The smell was pleasant and it provided a nice amount of texture without the grit that some dry shampoos leave behind. Highly recommend. This did nothing to my hair. Most dry shampoos I have used have left me with a sticky residue, which this did not, so that is a plus. However, I have tried using this several times and it has done nothing to my hair. It doesn't decrease the oil or the shine and doesn't make my hair look anything close to being clean. I do much prefer the scent over my usual brand though, it's much lighter smelling, and I don't smell it in my hair all day long, the scent fades quickly, which is good.

I was already a HUGE fan of Dove Dry Shampoo before receiving it to review. I find it works every time to freshen up my hair between washes. My tween daughter even uses it regularly now. We both love the smell of it. It leaves no residue behind like some other dry shampoos and I find it to be just as effective as the more expensive brands.
I am a strawberry blonde and my daughter is a brunette and neither of us have had any visible residue from using this regularly.
This is incredible value since the price cannot be beat.

Smells good, and very easy to use. I have tried many dry shampoos before and this was one of the tops. Good quality for a good price. Did I mention the smell? Soo good.

It was hard to tell how much dry shampoo was being sprayed out and it was hard to direct where it sprayed. I ended up spraying more of my hair than I wanted to. A more directional nozzle might be a better design in the future. I think I would prefer other dry shampoos that are in a powder form instead and can be sprinkled directly on your roots. I found the fragrance way too sweet and strong. It smelled like a cheap generic perfume. I would have preferred a fresh watery scent. If I'm not wet shampooing my hair I want a product that will give me a fresh scent, not a feeling like I'm trying to cover up my dirty hair. I thought the product made my hair too matte looking and stiff which could be due to me applying too much because I had trouble controlling the spray.

This Dove dry shampoo worked really well in my hair! It helped tame the oiliness, my hair felt soft, and there was no residue left behind. This product definitely helped save me some time on the days I was rushed. it was really easy to blend into my dark hair, and you don't need a whole lot. Not only does it work great, but it smells good, too! I will definitely be buying this dry shampoo again, and have recommended it to others!

I am so happy I got a chance to try this dry shampoo as I have not been able to find a good one for my curly hair. This product worked great on my hair and kept it felling and looking clean and fresh. The product absorbed the oil on my hair in between washes without making it look bad or leaving any residue. I will be using this product all the time in between washes. Love it
