I'm a big fan of dry shampoo, because I find my roots can get greasy, but I don't want to strip my hair of natural oils every day. I found this (which I got as part of a review package) took care of the greasiness problem, but it did leave some white-ish patches where i sprayed. This could be because I may have held the bottle too close to my head, but it's still an issue for anyone with darker hair. I also found that it left my hair a bit flat -- sometimes other dry shampoos offer a bit of volume when you use it, but that wasn't the case here. It smelt good -- unlike the chemical scent left by other products.
I think this is good in a pinch, but it wouldn't be my top choice.

I received this product for free from Chick Advisor for my honest review. I was very excited to try a dry shampoo because I have had frequent hospital stays where it's hard to wash my hair when I am really sick, and same when I am at home. So I waited 2 days and didn't wash my hair, I have light brown hair. I followed the directions 100%, and found this product did not work at all!!! It smelt very nice but that is actually made my hair look dirtier! I thought I may have done it wrong, so I tried it a total of 3 times and got the same results! I will not be buying this product and I would not recommend this product!

(I received a free product in exchange for my honest review) I was interested in trying the Dove because there have been times when shampooing isn't possible. I tested it on my hair the day I would normally wash it so I could give it a good test. I didn't mind the scent and it sprayed well. I brushed it out and did notice more fullness so the dove did remove the excess oils and dirt.(Be sure to brush hair well to remove the power) In a emergency this product would be useful to have on hand I just wouldn't have frequent need . After use my hair looks like I washed it the day before, those are great results for a dry shampoo. I would recommend having a can in your cabinet or suitcase because life happens.

This works pretty good I would use it again. Love the other products more than this one. This is a pretty good dry shampoo I am loving the dove stuff. Isn't sticky like some are. Like the packaging

The only thing I truly loved about this was the fresh scent and the lightness compared to other dry shampoos. But I found it gritty so I don't recommend it! This is a really good refreshing spray. It has a very fine powdered spray, so your hair doesn't feel super gritty (like Batiste for example). It also doesn't leave a thick white coating at the root, which I like because I have dark brown hair. It has a great scent to refresh on the 2nd day (or 3rd!). This is perfect for post-gym or extending your hairstyle. I liked that the container was quite large, because I find that dry shampoo runs out pretty fast. I loved this product. It has a fresh scent and is light. I like that it can be purchased at any store locally and is well within my budget. It helped leave my hair smooth and manageable after sleeping with wet hair. Compared to other dry shampoos I would give this one a leg up.

I like this dry shampoo, it works great on the days that i am too lazy to wash my hair, or on the days where i just don't have time to wash my hair. I like the way it makes my hair feel, its great for when your hair is a bit oily.

I had heard a lot about dry shampoos but I was extremely skeptical about using it. I usually shampoo my hair everyday as when it comes time to brush it out the following day the roots are looking mighty oily.
But, some mornings are rushed…trying to get two kids ready for school and myself ready for work and I really wanted an option for mornings when I was rushed without having to go to work with greasy looking hair.
I had no idea how much to use or even how to use it…but, the instructions were pretty easy to follow….spray into hair and use your palm to rub into the roots, and then brush out…..seemed easy enough.

The product leaves a white powdery coating to your hair. As you are brushing it out, I would suggest not already having your work clothes on as you’ll have white dandruff looking flakes all over you:
Once I got it all brushed out, my hair had a texture as if I had just sprayed it with a light-hold hairspray .
I’ve used it a few times since. However, I have a mild case psoriasis on my scalp so this product did tend to make my head a bit itchy.

I have tried a few dry shampoos over the years and this one works well, but you have to be really careful about how close you hold it. I find that it leaves more white that you have to brush out than other brands. But the biggest deterrent for me was the strong scent. I have to shut the door in the bathroom and put on the fan so that the rest of the household doesn't get choked out and then I am left barely able to breath. Even after leaving the bathroom I find myself still choking on the scent from my own hair.
