I have used dry shampoo before and it was wet, left my hair limp and didn't work BUT this was amazing.
It smelled great and extended my hairstyle an extra day.
It was super easy to use and even though I have dark hair I didn't see any residue. A must in every household!

Dove products are amazing. Let's start with that. I don't usually use drt shampoo....till now! What great stuff! And powerful! Lol just blasted right down to my grrasy roots. Then bam! Fresh. Love it dove. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work! I'd recommend this to girl with thinner hair too. I have big wavy, giant hair.

I received this product from Chick Advisor's Product Review Club. Tried this out a few times and as much as I've always wanted a dry shampoo....this just doesn't work for me. I sprayed it in then rubbed it around but other than a nice fresh scent...it didn't do a thing for my hair. It still looked greasy and flat. There was no white residue at least. Maybe it would work better if my hair was short?

I received this product from Chick Advisor's Product Review Club! Honestly, before using this product, I was a Dry Shampoo Virgin! I had absolutely NO idea how it all worked. My sister used dry shampoo before, and I recall seeing leftover residue all over her hair, and since that day I vowed to stay away from it! I used the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil with Macadamia African Oil to straighten my hair. A few days after, I decided to try the dry shampoo rather than go through all the hassle of washing, drying, straightening, styling my hair all over again. The instructions on the shampoo were clear, and easy to understand (especially for a Dry Shampoo Virgin) After using this product my hair felt....CLEAN and it looked clean, and the best part, NO RESIDUE! I am converted! This is a great product to have if you have hair like mine (thick, curly - hours to style), it cleans your hair leaving it soft, shiny and not sticky with residue! I LOVE how quickly it worked, and how easy it was to brush out - literally a time/money saver. I also LOVE how much of the product is in a bottle! I absolutely recommend this to all dry shampoo virgins and pretty much everyone out there! This is a must have - and works absolutely amazing after a workout as well!

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This was one of the products i was most iffy about because i've tried many other brands of dry shampoos out and they somehow managed to make my hair look grosser than it was. Maybe it was just me, and my inability to understand how to use it. BUT this came with slightly clearer instructions, and you know what i think i was actually able to see some results from this one! Am i still on the fence about it? yes, of course! but since it was the first time i saw some results i'm really happy with this one! I think if im able to fully understand how to use dry shampoo and need to restock, i've definitely buy this one again.

I picked this up because it was on sale, and I have heard dry shampoo was great. But dove did not work for me. I'm not sure if my hair was to tick or just the dove dry shampoo is just plain crap!

Dry shampoo for me is a must, and this by far has to be my favourite out of all the ones I have tried. My favourite part about it is the spray circumfrence. (Does that make any sense to you?) all of the dry shampoos I have used before didnt cover a lot of space when I used them. This one has a very generous spray which makes it easy to use.
Also it degreases IMMEDIATElY!!!!!! OMG like nothing else I have ever used before with minimal prodcut being used Definetely a money saver. You just have to make sure you brush or rub the product out well because it does leave it residue (not a bad thing I promise, just blend it out) I love this stuff, and it smells okay

I really like how Dove refresh dry shampoo does not leave a white residue behind. It absorbs well and has a refreshing scent. My hair was easy to style after using the dry shampoo and stayed soft and manageble.

I was sent this product as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I really enjoy this product between washes. I normally go 2-3 days between washes, as I have super thick, slightly dry hair. On Day 3, I like to spray some Dry Shampoo in my hair for a light refresh. I've previously used the "Not Your Mother's" brand of dry shampoo, which is more expensive and in a smaller bottle. I find that the Dove product works just as well, and smells better!
It sprays white when it's initially applied, but as soon as I rub it through my hair, all the whiteness goes away. My technique is to spray a little on the roots, rub it in, and then see if it still needs a bit more. So maybe that's why I didn't have quite the same difficulties as some of the other reviewers. Still, I'd like to try a dry shampoo that's formulated for dark hair, just so that I can compare the two.

I didn't have the issue of white cast that many people have complained about with this product. I also didn't find it effective though. This product is good for a light refresh if you have a little bit of excess oil. I only wash my hair one to two times each week. At days 4-6, I can sometimes start getting a little bit greasy. If I used this on day 4, it was good for a little refresh and a bit of boost in volume. If I used this on day 6, it was just like adding perfume to my hair. That brings me to the scent. This product is HEAVILY fragranced. I've used scented dry shampoos (eg. Batiste) in the past. This one goes above and beyond in scent. It was like spraying perfume on my hair.
